Description
Test chambers based around the use of repulsion gel. Just go for a little bounce. The first chamber is very very short as this is my first attempt at a map, shouldn't take you longer than 3minutes to work out. It is something different though. Updates: Re-vamped textures, lighting, triggers. Made the map more obvious on how to actually solve it.

This sounds like it's a Work In Progress. Just post something here or PM a moderator and we'll move it to the WIP section.
I believe I was unable to solve it the proper way. Read below for my solution.
I assume somehow we are supposed to fly out of the angled panel and bounce off the opposite wall to land on the upper ledge. I was unable to find out how I was supposed to get enough speed to do this.
So instead....
I filled both walls above the angled panel with blue gel and bounced off the very edge of the panel near the gel extrude and bounced back and forth till I got up.
You say this is "something different." I'd agree, at least that it's a start. Depending on where you take this, it may be "something different" or it may end up being "more of the same," as you use the solution to main-game puzzles to solve this one (thus making it not much different at all).
Still, you have a good grasp of the basics of repulsion gel. If I may, though, try to refine the delivery, as the gel spawning tube is a bit sloppy as-is.
Cheers, for the posts. It's a finished test chamber, obviously a few kinks to work out.
Perhaps I need to modify it so that it is a bit more obvious how you're supposed to solve it. The correct way is to put gel on the roof and on the floor and then use the momentum you create through bouncing to then shoot out of the angled panel
As for something different, it wasn't something done in the main game (the solution that is)

what would you suggest? making the gel more constant? delay time?
I never thought of that. Is that something from coop? You could focus the user more by making more unusable surfaces. The entire roof and a large portion of the left wall is useable. There were to many and it was distracting my focus forcing me to far outside the box.
Updated the map a little. It is a little more obvious on how to solve the test, fixed the bug where people could jump up from the gel dispenser, changed textures and lights (finally worked those ones out... sorta)
@Ivdarkwolf, I never saw it used in co-op, although they did use propulsion gel to a similar effect.
Update 2: Re-vamped the entire map, new textures, brushes, placed in proper observation windows, lighting, doors, exits, took out all carved objects.
I started playing custom maps and record me playing them. It's neither a perfect run nor do I have to have solved the map in the way it's meant to solve it. I play the maps "blind", that means I've never been in them before and play them for the very first time. I also give a little feedback for the map in the video description.
Maybe you are interested in the fact, that I played your map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3chIe9KQr5w
wow, that's quite cool dude, thanks for the video. you pretty much had the right technique to solve it and i'm glad the signs helped you a little bit, there is a spoiler at the top on how to solve it.
