Description

A Portal map that involves looking and thinking!? Neva! This is my second Portal 2 coop map and involves 1 test chamber and two robots to solve it. Another light bridge puzzle (I love light bridges) with other techniques shoved in. Thanks to Kakujitsu for making the cool chicken logo and helping me test it! P.S. I will allow decompiling of the map for learning how I made things only. Play instructions: Unzip the map from the archive and place in your Steam/steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2/maps folder. Make sure both you and your partner have downloaded it. Start a normal co-op game and whoever is hosting (the Blue Robot) type in "changelevel mp_coop_chickentest_2" in the console (which is activated by the ` key under ESC. What do you think? Rate my map and post a comment in the thread! Suggestions are highly wanted

I started playing custom maps and record me playing them. It's neither a perfect run nor do I have to have solved the map in the way it's meant to solve it. I play the maps "blind", that means I've never been in them before and play them for the very first time. I also give a little feedback for the map in the video description.

Maybe you are interested in the fact, that I played your map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVtNjMfOXBc

A very nice map. No bugs (for us, at least), good design, interesting puzzles. Maybe a little bit too easy, but it's a matter of taste )
Keep up the good work.

Solid puzzle and slick looks, very commendable but not much to do other than the intended solution.

I really didn't think this puzzle was too easy as the people who helped me test it took around 4 minutes to realise that you can place a light bridge under you when you fall. As for being no bugs... I aim for perfection

Thank you for testing it and liking it

Woohoo another Chicken Mobile map Once again a great job dude, we found this was slightly simpler than your first installment (I guess that's because robots weren't destroying us ) but overall a great map with a really good portal feel to it

I think if you mixed the angst of destruction of your first map with the more puzzle'y aspects of this one you will be on for a perfect map Also noted that this map has a level link to chickentest_3, we look forward to playing this

Playthrough with commentary below (You probably don't want to watch this if you haven't completed this map yet).

Oh and we know we made things hard for ourselves....that's just our way I guess

Howdy,

This was a fun map that involved a lot of teamwork. Enjoyed the layout and simple nature of the environment, but it still had lots of puzzle elements. Well done.

Redunzl and I are playing through as many CoOp maps as we can stand, starting from the oldest first. So this map has been out a year, but only one person (the inimitable Djinndrache) bothered to post a video. Here's ours:

We enjoyed playing this fairly easy map, but we edited out some repeated failures trying to catch the sphere. This is only a half-blind playthrough, because I had soloed the map before. It was new to Redunzl, and it was he who kept missing the damn sphere. That one little annoyance drags it down to 3/5 for us.
