You forgot to add or build cubemaps, and as such every reflective surface looks terrible.

One sentence: gratuitous theme change. Unfortunately it didn't work and the transition from one theme to the next was jarring and unimpressive. The design was flat and uninteresting. Minor props for making the first overgrown Disassembly Chamber, though.

The puzzles were bland and uninspired. Extremely specific elements/surfaces with one very obvious solution. The 1940's area was flat out frustrating, we had to noclip to finally see the surfaces we were supposed to snipe from across the giant single texture box enclosure.

The only puzzle that was relatively interesting was the final one with the lasers.

I am more permissive with style change - what I don't like is style mixing. Still good of you to put a perspective to the change, like falling below or riding an elevator - others just open a door to the next.

Anyway: you started on the wrong foot! We were definitely liking those decay ones. Instead you slap firstcomers with a full black quicktime event. The Old Aperture ranked on the decent, and I understand if others didn't snipe the portals - we're used to and it took us a couple mins. So, all in all, you should give a bit of love to those humble beginnings.

Well, I thought that mixing the styles will be good, but now I see it wasn't good idea. I'll try to make my next maps only in one style.

I played Portal 2 again, and I must say that some platforms for placing portals are even harder to find than those in old section in my map. I remember that if I was playing Portal 2 for first time, I was searching one platform 15 minutes. All my friends which played my map completed this puzzle in 5 minutes.

And also I forgot to build cubemaps

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.

sorry for bumping this but played space gardens and then realised we missed this map in are playthroughs so here is our blind run.

a nice map which consist of both BST areas and test chamber areas. the most annoying bit at least for us is the fact that 1 player is left waiting while the other finds the portal surface. created by Fluppy/
