Description

My first Portal 2 map, and part of my Entry series which is still in the works. I'm submitting this map for the contest. A seemingly simple small puzzle map that requires a little thinking to solve.

Well cut and clean looks, despite the size it has an intriguing piece of puzzle!

Pretty dificult at first to figure out what was going on, but eventually figured it out feeling dumb about it. I don't think it is a bad map. Pretty deceptive too.

YES! The design is uncluttered but still detailed and functional, the puzzle is original, and the solution is ingenious.

My only possible complaint is the length, but really I don't mind. Five out of five.

Small and yet surprisingly challenging; just the way i like em'! Look great! I didn't find any glitches.

Even though small, otherwise perfect!
I especially liked the fact that there is a perfect mix between white and black walls(most maps just do black with a few single white walls which pretty much tells you what to do with no room for improvisation) and the most important thing for me was, good light!
Yes, this is so rare in fan portal maps, that i gave the map a 5/5 just because of that. It wasn't too bright(like in default maps) or too dark(like most fan maps)
I just love it

I like the clean looks of the map.
The puzzle was fun, I love anything with Goo, haha
Although, I feel like I solved it "wrong" :d

Thanks for the feedback guys. I actually iterated through several versions to iron out all the glitches people in my community found. Playtesting has great value

I started playing custom maps and record me playing them. It's neither a perfect run nor do I have to have solved the map in the way it's meant to solve it. I play the maps "blind", that means I've never been in them before and play them for the very first time. I also give a little feedback for the map in the video description.

Maybe you are interested in the fact, that I played your map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ime1oF4nOE

Looks like I am constantly trailing behind this other video-makin fella, but I do have "halarious" running commentary going for me... anyhow here is another video of this map.

well I officially didn't solve it the "proper way" but it wasn't too far off base. I was able to get the box to not land on the floor button properly by spamming the dropper button. I was very happy that this occurred however because I never would have thought to try to ninja my way in to the second box room in the 1.5 seconds that the door was open.

Short and sweet of course, and there's much to be said for the simplicity of the clean chamber theme. Not the least of all is the deceiving nature of it that leads us to believe the puzzle will be much more simple than it appears. Well done.

Nice one. So what was the purpose of having the second button in the little cube room if the walls were portal surfaced? If they weren't I would have had to get out the door and hop over the ledge to get the cube out, which would have been a slightly harder challenge. Was that how you meant to solve it? Overall, nice thinking with portals map. Thanks.

clean, short and simple. Perhaps I've just done so many puzzles that involve spawning new cubes that this one just doesn't do the trick for me.

The button in the inner room is unnecessary. The absence of a visible cube dropper there is inconsistent with the otherwise clean design.

I give this 3/5 because it needs more of everything it already has.

I enjoyed this. I agree that it is short, but sometimes I like a quick map. It's like one of those mini-deserts a lot of restaurants have now; a few bites of goodness
