The intended solution is loads of fun, but you can easily shortcut the map. Also, I think the map is a bit short.

Odd, we were never able to use that angled wall to get over, but I see how the bumper above the excursion funnel seems to be completely useless to your Orange, which causes the angle to be just right.

Also, about its length... We worked on this when the way to make maps was using the Alien Swarm SDK, haven't fully updated it yet either, and it was a "Hey look, I can put maps together now!" messing around type thing. Had a few friends play it as well, a few got stumped even... Thanks for finding the hole in the solution! We'll play with the bumper, or just get rid of that little extension on the end landing.

Great start. Simple and fun. Like others said, it's a bit plain, but this map could be a great interlude to a stack of levels.

Thanks for sharing the workaround Wilco, I had actually tried that but never was able i would always fall just short. Also thanks everyone for the feedback. As for the length I suppose it does feel a bit short however it was thrown together as a quick map.

Cute puzzle, maybe as part of a bigger map.

As others said, seems a bit short, but its a good simple little puzzle. I think it would be great in the middle of a larger puzzle as xdiesp suggested.

I was able to place a portal from the back wall top onto the angle surface and then excursion from there to the water and exit platform. The water is not deadly enough, suggest increasing the level a bit.
Solution as intended is fun. Thanks for creating the map.

You managed to land in the water, and then get out of it onto the platform? Or did you do what Wilco did?

Either way, I think we'll be removing that little platform that sticks out at the ending. Seems to cause more trouble for little to no actual payoff for the fling.

I started playing custom maps and record me playing them. It's neither a perfect run nor do I have to have solved the map in the way it's meant to solve it. I play the maps "blind", that means I've never been in them before and play them for the very first time. I also give a little feedback for the map in the video description.

Maybe you are interested in the fact, that I played your map: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eKAjSORQ0vE

Thanks for the video it's always nice to see how the map is played on the first run.

^ What he said. Always tough to look at it fresh when you design it! Thanks a bunch, keep it up!

EXTREMELY easy test is even easier with the most obvious shortcut. I even rescued the companion cube twins. Also when the test was over it returned me to the main menu and the main menu had a purple and green checkerboard on it. I'm placing blame on this test.
