I think you have to include the custom assets you used. The cube dropper only drops errors. Well, actually it doesn't even drop it. The error is just sort of hanging in there.
Ok thanks guys, it's fixed. I thought it was a native file. Let's just forget about the companion cube, You should now be able to enjoy this map with a non-companion weighted cube. Let me know.
Indeed it was broken, but that doesn't mean it couldn't be completed: you just had to break it even more.

As for the rest: pleasant visuals, moody atmosphere. Classic unspecial puzzles, yet accessible. Note that while I didn't show in the video, you can actually reach and walk on the entire roof.
Nice map and atmosphere, everything worked fine for me in your short map - thanks for creating.
I was able to get stuck by losing the cube after hitting the button on the ceiling. Otherwise, nice map!
I hate how you can't tell a hose is air vent unless you have two portals down. There is no particle effect on the structure itself, only through a portal. I was stumped at the very start because I thought the dropper was a gel thingy, not an air vent.
GLITCH?:I am able to shoot a portal under this fizzler

Thx for mapping, everything worked fine.
I like the use of air vent but still, it's not because you're one of the few using air vent that the map should be that easy.
keep digging, you can do better with those vents.
Splendid map involving new element and creative ideas! The only flaw is that the map is too short. I'm expecting some more challenging and complex puzzles using this new element. Just don't let me down!
p.s. I love 1950s styled test chambers!

Fantastic map, I know a lot of people here seem to enjoy really complex maps, but for me this was a nice. It wasn't overly simple and it didn't make me frustrated in not being able to work it out
keep up the good work! 5/5
had to restart the map 3 times - in the 1st room the cube just didnt lad on the pad to activate orange gel

Same here. Given the limited options I eventually put the portals as expected but more out of frustration than anything else. Adding the same effect you see with portal where particles are sucked in to the vent would be a good thing. If you can't add the effect, have it suck something else, like a chair, or garbage like after destroying the neurotoxin plant in the main game.
And if the effect is only a one time thing instead of continuous, or if you don't want to add the effect to the other pump, add some brushes around the pipe to differentiate it from regular pipes, even to someone who hasn't paid much attention to them, like maybe a conic grid as if to better guide the objects into it.
On the second room, it would be good to see the button on the platform. There too I pass the puzzle more by chance than reasoning because I didn't know what the pipes where or that there was a button (the player can use a portal to see on the platform but that imply that the player is expecting something there as opposed to a button somewhere else in the next room or two).
On the first "sucking pump", the output pipe and the pump are not correctly aligned. And on it, from the second room, you can see "gel flow" signs (what gel? It sucks air!) and in opposite direction.
Same alignment issue with the second pump, seen through the glass, for both input and output pipes.
I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

Short but sweet.
For a short map, it did make me think. Had to rage quit once, think about it went playing some Halo 2, then realized my solution was wrong when I got back in the game, but figured it out.
Good mental challenge!
I usually have a soft spot in my heart for Cave Johnson era maps, but this one left me a little disappointed. In it's favor, it had quite a bit of re-use of elements, so it was not just a straight run through. Even so, it had a lot of very simple steps, very few of which were strung together to make a better puzzle. 3/5 from me.
Sorry I can't remember the part name, but there is a collar for the end of the vent tubes that make them look more venty.
