Here are some screenshots of the map.
These are only from the beginning of the puzzle.

It should be "You're not done yet".
I normally don't care about grammar mistakes such as this but it's in the map title.

You are right
It happens sometimes because english isn't my native language.
I'll atleast change the topic title.

Could it be, the title was just a ploy to lower expectations?

A welcome surprise: map shows off notable technical skills (impeccable style with lots of moving parts) and this peculiar deviousness in puzzles. In between hard and cheap, they're kind of outside the current "batch". Even now I have no idea how I passed the red fields on the first go.

Well the name wasn't meant to lower expectations, I just couldn't think of anything else . When the map was almost done, or rather when I finished the things I was able to do within the given time, I still hadn't come up with a name. So I chose this name as its something GlaDOS or Wheatley could say when playing the map.

But its nice to hear my map is a welcome surprise . I have a little bit of experience with mapping for Half Life 2, but there where a lot of things I needed to learn when mapping for Portal 2. In the end it didn't quite turn out the way I wanted as 2 weeks just wasn't enough, but compared to some other maps I'm quite satisfied with the result .

The red fields in the beginning are pretty easy when you know what to do. I'm curious if you where able to finish the second half of the map?

Come on people! I'm dying to know what you guys think of my first Portal 2 map, and if you where able to finish it. And I would really like to know what I did right, and what could be improved in a future version.

Oh geeze, a double post. Get your shields up, matey.

Anyway - while Im not really all that interested in SP maps, golly gee, that is SHINY. Ill give it a playthrough, edit this post with whatever thoughts I might have on it.

EDIT: Aight, so, am I supposed to be able to see that lil two pixel line of white panels at the bottom of the fizzler? Because if I am, wow, that is not right, and if Im not, I didnt see any other solutions but thats probably just me. Death fields could use a timer, damm things almost clipped me in half on the way down. For the second part, puzzles that involve jumping around fizzlers, not a fan, but thats a problem with me, not with the map. Overall, Id give it a... 8.5 outta 10? On an imaginary judgement scale of no real importance? Good, its good, thats what Im trying to say.

Do you mean the white panel at the bottom of the first part of the map? Cause if you do then you didn't solve it like I intended . In the first part you have to go to the top of the tractor beam to reverse it. Once you get down you can dissable the fizzlers and you can use the white panel at the bottom to portal out of there.

As for the Death Fields, they are using a timer. Or do you mean a timer sound?

Though I'm pretty happy you gave it an 8.5

Ah, yes, that does make more sense. And yes, I did mean a timer sound.

Aw, it took me more than 20 minutes, the second part was tough
Good thing that the floor got portal-panels though, makes it easier ^_^

(Recorded the run, video coming whenever the queues get time for it)

The second part is real easy to execute if you know what to do , I'm looking forward to seeing your video of the playtrough

Very nice map, but the last chamber I just couldn't get over the fizzler walls and then up to the laser area with a cube - had to noclip. Guess I need to see a Utube solution...to see how easy it is. thanks for creating.

Jesus Christ, I lost your question 200 comments ago. Yeah, finished everything but probably had lucked out on the first lasers.

Chamber 1

I believe I used the same shortcut that Pete used because I skipped going through the red-laser-death-grids and didn't reverse the funnel either.

The easy fix is just move the portalable panel at the bottom of the funnel shaft a bit further back so that the player actually has to ride the reversed funnel down there to have access to it.

I did replay the map to get the full Chamber 1 experience, but I wasn't overly impressed with riding the funnel through the laser grids. It wasn't horrible by any means, but I did it easily on my first try. I almost hate to say it, but I enjoyed playing it more the first time when I used the shortcut and had to use a different non-reversed funnel technique to get the cube.

Chamber 2

This one I liked a lot. Perhaps I just happened to play it when I was up for a bit of a challenge because it did take me some time to solve, but I never got frustrated with it, and when I did finally piece it all together I felt pretty satisfied. Part of what made it great was that I explored a bit and realized I needed a cube in the room with the laser, but I looked at the area with the double fizzler and thought, "well there's no way I'm bringing it through here", but as I explored and started figuring things out I was amazed to find that was exactly the solution(part of it anyway).
Good job making it look good too. Your experience shows. I also especially liked the fake exit being taken away and given another chamber to solve.

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

I really liked this map - wished there were more Levels.

I don't know why so many are trying to time the tractor beam to get through the kill lasers - just stop at each segment and wait a few seconds.

The small opening in the last chamber was hard to shoot through to get into the adjoining room - had to take a ton of shots but finally got it.

My only complaint is that the final timer to turn off the Laser was completely unnecessary - you can just go through with laser ON . . . or you can turn off laser, go through unmolested - and then wait for 10 minutes before shotting the final Portal into the Ceiling Panel. There was no problem to go through with the laser also going through - and there was no rush to shoot the portal so no need for a timer there.

9 out of 10 Stars.

Cool map, good design, and a bit challenging puzzles. I liked the idea of automatic turning on and off deathly fields, also I liked that flingin puzzle, took me a while to solve, nice challenge.. I gave it 5/5

Great map! The second part gave me a lot of trouble. After a while, I did manage to get the cube on the button but then I somehow ran out of brain cells and got stuck. I took a break from the game and soon realized that the rest was easy.

Gee, it sure seems easy after you've died a bunch of times. It should have been named "You're done for!".
It got easier once I realized two things:
1. You can push out of the funnel and wait on the ledges.
2. You can clear the fizzler to the laser room without touching it.

It was nothing new to me in terms of mechanics, but it was a fairly novel implementation. It was well worth the effort to figure out. 4/5 from me.
