Description
A map where the player is imprisoned and must find a way to escape the prison cell and escape Aperture. This map introduces a new element (Key Cards) which, on obtained, will unlock certain doors inside the facility. They're small and white. Although there are certain save points in the map, I recommend player to manually save there game whenever your in a safe spot. This map is somewhat difficult, dangerous, and large. There are a few Easter Eggs in this map as well. Credit to lpfreaky90 for making the Relaxation Chamber (although I made a few tweaks to it). Thank you lpfreaky90!

Excellent.Took me a bit to figure out the main easter egg. Will play again after I eat and look for others.
I enjoyed the trip through the Labs... First time through I missed the key card concept and got stuck at door 2. Maybe should make the keycards a color other than white - they kind of got lost on the table tops...The light blue text for getting a key card was a bit hard to see, I had to look up to the ceilings...I presumed there were 3 since the first room had 3 numbers....
Going back to get the laser cube was a bit tedious - maybe I just did it wrong.
Nothing very hard, just running through halls, turrets etc...
Thanks for creating. Yeah a 5 ....
You could have used a chair to block the laser. Actually, using the reflection box is a step closer to get the main easter egg. The bathroom holds a secret.
1)Good map.
2)The water vents were a little bit small, make them a little bigger.
3)Use better textures.
4)make the offices look like the ones from the dlc, not the original portal.
5)There are too many turrets and theres no puzzle.
You just run around and played with one laser.
Maybe do some finging and maybe experiment with some other puzzle elements like Valve did, GEL!
6)The lighting was bad, Some places were to bright and some were too dark to see.
There were a few small issues with this map.
Spongy mentioned some of them, I'll put a few more:
The door in card-3 was black.
The information screen in the relaxation vault was black
There was a clipping issue in the relaxation vault. (my fault
!)
Card 2 was very hard to spot, I'd use a custom texture that looks like a credit card or something.
I saved all turrets, killed none, didn't get an achievement
The laser fizzlers aren't dynamic.
The three fizzlers on top of each other should be separate brushes.
anyways: still a very interested map. Due to the things mentioned here and the fact that there isn't really a puzzle I think I should vote a 4/5 for this map. However, I liked the size, and the fact that it was different from what we've seen before so I'll still give it a 5/5 excellent. But you should really fix at least some of the problems I mentioned, I'll look into the clipping issue with the relaxation vault!.

I actually had to fix a few things with your relaxation vault. But it wasn't anything major, just enough to make it the way I could enter through the observation room. Well, thanks anyway for finding the odd-errors in my map. Did anyone find the disk and DVD player yet?
I found the DVD player, but didn't see a disk along the way. Only having played it once, I was concentrating on puzzles, not the environment. I would have enjoyed it more if I'd done it the other way, since there are almost no puzzles here.
The behavior in the water tunnels was weird. Sometimes I was just crawling, other times I was flying through them. And at the end of the one from the second relaxation vault, it took me many tries before I could get out.
I suggest that you vary the music as you progress. Although I didn't particulary like the looks of the map in general, it was certainly appropriate to its theme. 4/5 from me.
Note to self: Top of new maps again. Back to top of page 8.
I agree with KennKong about the music; Even if you don't vary the track, just changing the volume (lower on average) and adding some ambient/playonce stuff would be nice, to add structure and signify progress.
Also the water passages are kind of glitchy when your eye level is close to the water level. I think an easy fix to this is to vertically extend the water brush by just 1 unit, so the water face is not coplanar with the roof of the tunnel (which causes problems in Source, since it likes to combine coplanar faces).
I found the easter egg pretty easil; though I will admit, the container for the CD near the end is kind of weird; Why would there be water on top? I actually knocked the door open on accident, wouldn't have found the disc otherwise.
Good map though, I had fun playing it! 5/5 from me

Think it's supposed to be a sink, as you're in a bathroom..
I voted 3/5 only, since there really is a lack of puzzles and I got bored pretty quickly. The keycard concept is interesting, though.
Thanks for mapping!
You are again playing with the facilities rather than making puzzles. But besides all the puzzle maps out there this is a nice change and fun to play.
Here is my blindrun (with easteregg):

I found the Cap with headlamp and fashion-statement "Potato on the side" - LOL.
Figgered that was an Easter Egg but could not pick it up.
Intersting new concepts . . . could build more onto it.
The Turrets were kind of dull IMO but I liked the rest of it.
lil buggy imo but good and solid map,
some stuff which needs work (imo):
color of keycard (white on white is hard to see)
had a hard time get through the door with cube which annoyed me a lil, the doors in the end are not really necessary
the water vents were a bit buggy, i didnt like that
everything else is awesome and cool, gj!
I know I posted this before, but you REALLY don't have to use the reflection cube to block the laser. You could always use a chair or other physic objects like a chair or something. I made the reflection cube re-spawn in case someone destroyed all of the other physic objects.
The hardest part about this map is seeing (and finding out about) the keycards. I think a little colour makes it better.
However, great map!
Really like the out-of-the-test-chamber setting.
I think the map can use some improvements on the objects in the room. For example, the room with the bots was too crowded in terms of tables for my taste. Less tables and better positioning would have created a nicer room.. I think.
Still, 5/5 rating because it really felt like a unique map!
Loved the slightly Resident Evil feel to this one, and all the attention to detail!
It was kinda linear and easy after discovering the keycards, but fun nonetheless. Can't wait to see your next map
Slight Resident Evil feel? Huh, never played that series before. Oh well, I'm glad you liked it!

Lol, can't tell if that's sarcasm.. but yeah replace the portals with not portals, and the turrets with zombies, and you got yerself a res evil map
I'm not joking, I've never played any of the Resident Evil games. Actually, the Prison Cells and keycards were more of a 007 GoldenEye (N64 version) reference to the 2nd Bunker level (where you escape a prison cell and get keycards to open doors).
Here's a list of Easter Eggs if anyone is interested:
Don't click unless you want to be spoiled
3 Talking Toilets
Portal 2 Hats on the shelf
Dancing Robot Buddies
Blast from the Past (Relaxation Chamber)
Disk and DVD (Wheatley and Space Core still in space)
Found the secret disc. I had a little trouble with the water corridors. What did you do to make those?
All in all, a fun map, nice to explore. I didn't have much trouble with the keycards after I read the documentation. The blue notification text was a bit hard to read. Not sure what you can do about that.
Well, I guess I could change the color of the text in future maps, maybe I'll try Orange or something that would stand out and not be hard to read.
The water vents don't make sense. GLaDOS clearly states not to submerge The Device in liquid, even partially. Were you even listening to her?

And THIS is why you CAN'T get into deep pools of water/goo but you CAN walk through tiny layers
