Description

A singleplayer chamber with excursion funnels, fizzlers, a bit of acid, cubes, and buttons! I was crunched for time, and I hadn't touched hammer in ages, but I gave it my best shot. Big thanks to my playtesters! Thanks for the contest!

A singleplayer chamber with excursion funnels, fizzlers, a bit of acid, cubes, and buttons, it is both brainy AND valid! I'm by no means a hammer guru, but I gave it my best shot. Big thanks to my playtesters! Thanks for the contest!

Bit late to the game, but here are some screenshots:

Brainy, validly manufactured single chamber. Nothing special yet not small minded, as the peculiarly transversal thought required will get you busy for a good 10-15 mins.

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

Thanks for the video!! That's really cool how you're playing through all of the contest entries. Also, I really wanted to make the player NEED to kill the companion cube in order to solve the puzzle. It's probably the most critical step. Pays homage to portal 1 in a way.

And again, thanks for the video. Hope you enjoyed playing my map

I lost alot of time around the sign near the big button, trying to understand what that means. The i figure out the solution, solved that, reloaded the map and tryied a way to save the companion cube, with no success T_T

Haha, sorry about that. You mean the check mark, yes? I had a hard time deciding whether or not it really needed to be there, but I eventually decided to leave it there because I though it would help guide the player's attention to the newly deployed light bridge. Probably not the best way to grab attention though. That can easily be tweaked, however. And as always, thanks for your feedback

I liked this map, what I liked at first was design. I have to say that walls were really very well detailed, I really liked that. Puzzle in this map was, interesting. It took me almost hour to figure out. But when I figured out, it was awesome feeling. Nice map, and good and mainly interesting puzzle, good work!

I liked the puzzle, but I would have liked it more in a smaller room. Shooting portals waaaay over there, and waiting a long time for the door to open could have been avoided. It is a well-designed puzzle, with the necessary obstacles in the right places without looking bodged together. Well done; 4/5 from me!
