Stuck here too.

Not too many portalable surfaces in the second area. Can't figure out how to use the faith plates with the "target" surfaces. Also, the portalable surfaces facing the turrets has me at a loss as well.

Looks great though.

Appreciate it that you like the Lookz
I'll deactivate those Sparksounds of the Broken Button/Door.

Hint:
The Solution may not be intuitive.
@NeoDinian Just think a little longer at that makes no sense, and when remember how the Map startet

Edit:
To Eskimo:
Could you please send my your idea with PM, just to confirm that it's not the solution which didn't work out.
Either way, I could make it so that turrets shoot through Portals, but it is not Required and could lead to more death when wanted.

I am stuck at the very beginning. I had an idea but it turned out to be pretty impossible. Also I have noticed that these turrets do not shoot through my portals. Not sure whether this is a map problem or what but this is what I could do all day long:

I solved it but not sure if it is the intended way. I didn't see any other way though. I got accross the gap by letting the turret shoot me and launching me accross the gap. It took me several tries before it worked though.

I'm stuck, too.
@benvent: Your idea came to my mind, too, but I didn't find a way to carry it out. Could you please post a video or something?
Edit: Found it, but the turret lacks the power to get me across.

Same here. I shot a portal in front of one of the turrets, hoping it would shoot me across the gap. But it doesn't seem to have any "pushing power". I'm just hit by its bullets and that's it.

I quite like maps that do something a little different... like this one.
It had me scratching my head for ages, untill that eureka moment... but the turrets didn't really have enough pushing power.
In the end I went with this :p

Maybe consider a little less damage, and more shoving power?
Still, fun map. Cheers!

Nice Haxor Solution Sickle...

Im afraid I don't know how to make Turrets Push harder...
The first corridor is using a Trigger Push, to fake the Turret-Recoil.

I can't make a video of the Solution right now, but
the solution is Indeed to have a Portal above the pit. Then Jump into the "Dark Room". Place a Portal before the Turret. Works best if you place the Portal high, then jump slightly backwards to the Turret...he when repells you into the Portal and over the Gap.

But Maybe I could make some "Fake-Triggers" to help derandomize the solution for some people.

Edits:
Turrets will only push moving targets...if one stands still no push is induced.

Pretty unique idea with an intro that gives a decent hint on how to solve it. The solution is fairly easy to come up with after that intro, however it seems that the blow won't always be strong enough to make it over the gap. Here you go for my blindrun:

I'd be lying if I said that didn't turn me on a little...

I finally got the turrets to blow me across the gap but it took way too many tries. I'd really like to know Tyronis' trick for getting so much velocity out of the reportaling. Is it just a matter of how far past the edge of the portal you are?

In any case, the intended mechanic ranks very low on my list of ways to obtain momentum. At least the map does a decent job of introducing it. A little more light on the portal surfaces opposite the turrets might have made the lightbulb go on sooner, if you'll pardon the pun.

Since this is just a demo level, with no real puzzle in it, I give it just 3/5.

You gotta be inside the portal, but past the halfway mark. You shoot the same colored portal that you're in and the game pushes you out of the way, giving momentum. It doesn't matter where you are in the portal, as long as its past the halfway mark.

Helps if you're on the move while firing it too.
I'm feeling slow for not seeing that surface above the grate and trying to cram 2 onto a single one :p

It's an interesting concept but I don't really like it
For me turrets are supposed to guard/kill players, not to help them solve their tests. If you want to do this; why not use something like a ball cannon that shoots the player away? That would make a lot more sense to me then this.

For me this is a 2/5, it isn't a cute you tried to map but more the concept you came up with is something I really don't like.

I guess that's the price one has to pay for doing things way out of the norm.
It's all justified critics. I was not sure if the solution would be received well, even with hinting at it right at the Start of the map.

The Past day I tried to apply changes which would fake the solution so one is less dependend on the turrets but still under the perception that the towers are at work, pushing you with momentum. It didn't work out to my liking. And it won't anytime soon.

So I'll just let the map stand here as a "Proof of interesting but not really likable Concept" - or as a map to train the Reportalglitch g

But atleast from the artistic side the overall feedback is quite positive

Last but not Least I retroactively wish you
