Extremely basic, tutorial-quality rooms and embryonal puzzles. Nothing to see here, at least without another month of hammer.

Thanks for feedback, but I would like to clarify that is this my first test chamber and I didn't want to bog it down this an overly complex puzzle and styling elements. Just wanted to keep it simple while still learning the editor.

I started playing custom maps and record me playing them. It's neither a perfect run nor do I have to have solved the map in the way it's meant to solve it. I play the maps "blind", that means I've never been in them before and play them for the very first time. I also give a little feedback for the map in the video description.

That was neat! The vertical light bridge in the final chamber is pretty much useless. I was originally going to have a few little rooms open up on the left hand wall (while facing exit elevator door) with turrets in them so you could choose to use the light bridge or take the out with the tunnel, but I was running short on time to upload so I just did a few tweeks to make sure what was there worked right.

Did the lighting not render? Curios, because the goo did show and overlays looked dark.

Also, I tried to make a re-spawn in the final chamber but couldn't figure it out...any help on that would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, a re-spawn in the final chamber would be awesome. Especially since you have a catapult just sitting in the middle of the room that makes it look like it goes to the other side. I didn't finish the map because of this. You get a 1 rating and may God have mercy on your soul.

Nah, on a serious note, you really need to do that and it would be a decent first attempt on a map. Keep workin at it!

Very nice map actually, short and fun, not hard but here's a bug I found in your map (big one) mapping-contest/all-glitches-i-could-find-in-summer-mapping-innitiative-maps-t3605.html strg+f my thread for "Big_Buddy"

Typical of many first maps, this has small puzzles in big rooms. I never used the funnel in the second room; I got everything done with the lightbridge from the first. This is just a really basic map; nothing wrong with it, but also nothing to recommend it. 2/5 from me. Put it in the beginners playlist.
