Very nice map. Puzzles are well designed, they made me think a lot.. I restarted a lot of times (dropped another cube) just because i forgot something in the solving process (for instance, i didn't killed the turrets before walking in front of them)
Also, i've found a little trick, but i don't think is useful to skip puzzle or something:
-where is the laser, it's possible to shoot a portal behind the fizzler and the death trap by jumping over the first platform and sniping the portalable area
A well-designed, refined puzzle with a professional mindset. I particularly enjoyed the use of funnels and light bridges to allow mobility throughout the map. Textures were aligned and planned, and the fizzlers and discouragement fields did their job successfully.
A note, unsure if intended or not, but in the last area, a player can jump and portal snipe over the fizzler to the white wall in the first area. I used this method a few times to get back to the first room.
5/5.
Thanks for the comments everyone. And as far as being able to jump and shoot above the final platform's fizzler to return to the entry platform, that is fine and intended.
I love that you name your maps after people who did questionable psychological research.
I really enjoyed this map. A few things though:
Presumably it was supposed to be possible to use the excursion to get to the door area, the only way I could get high enough to get into it was by jumping off the button. If you are supposed to be able to do that maybe just have a few steps or something, it felt like I was cheating a bit.
After activating the bridge I solved it by:
1)Taking the cube over to the final area in the excursion funnel and putting a portal in that area
2)Jump sniping back over to the start and using the bridge to move over to the laser area
3)Using a portal to retrieve the cube from the final area and then using that as a stepping stone to move up to the laser
4)Opening a portal with the laser going through it back to the final area and going through with the cube
If that was the intended solution then great job!
I'm glad someone caught the references, Marise. (edit: I noticed you've got a Skinner map, well done!)
Reswitch, your solution does agree with the intent of the level.
Wow, this map made me stop and think a few different times.
Thanks, clyder. Your puzzles are just right. Difficult to figure out, but easy to perform.
I also think it has the right level of deadliness to it. You can easily die if you are being careless, but nothing tries to kill you unexpectedly. Even the turrets can be dealt with before they pose any threat, making them just another part of the puzzle.

Everything said above. This was better done than some of the retail P2 levels.
Very nice fun map with a modestly challenging puzzle in a single room. Thanks for creating.
Hey clyder,
I have decided to do a commentary / gameplay of your custom map, I had to think on this one as well as fail a lot.
you can view the video (which will be up soon) on my channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/Pricee123?feature=mhee
It's great to see people enjoying the map; thanks for the feedback.
Pricee, very cool to watch someone play through the level. Thanks for uploading!
One of those virtually flawless short maps in Clean style: modest in looks, uncommonly cerebral and handy to play. What lacks in lenght, gains in solidness: no broken puzzles, no distracting mapping shortcomings, worth its weight in logic. Glitch: the cube can get stuck inside the funnel machine, which is no show stopper but still.

I will upload a full version if you so desire, since i notice i cut out a lot of it :S
I manged by some careful timing to grab the turrets direct in order to kill them and then i realise there was some glass and a perfectly placed laser and cube to kill them with ease -.-
I found it pretty hard actually. Stupidly, it took me hours to understand I could kill the turrets with the laser through he glass. I hadn't see your little sign. lol.
But the map is really well designed. Each elements is used several times but with different purposes. Very interesting map. Thanks. I enjoyed it.
Just finished playing it. Good map. Just the right amount of thinking without being frustrating.
Awesome map, perfect difficulty. Hard, but not hard enough to be frustrating! Very fun, get's a 5/5 from me, well done.
Nice map - loved killing those turrets with the laser! Map
had a little of everything. I got stuck at the end for a minute - getting over that
grid with the cube and going back for laser - but thought about it and made it fine.
Liked GlaDos Humor as well! Thanks and 5 cakes for you!
Great map! Tricky puzzles that made me think. I spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get the laser beam around the corner to get the turrets.. Finally I realized I could just get them through the glass! Duh..
I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

That's how you're supposed to get rid of the turrets?! Oh man.
I just finished this puzzle and it's the longest i've been stuck on a custom map yet. To take out the turrets I first turned on the light bridge by deflecting the laser with the cube, then i went across and made a portal, went back for the cube, made a 2nd portal, then ran down the hallway with the cube in front of me to block the turret fire.
I also spent stupidly long figuring out the last section of the puzzle, this screenshot should give you an idea of some kind of crazy elaborate laser guidance system i was attempting:
I actually managed to hit the final laser on target that way, but then when i stood on the button myself i realized you actually need the cube on that button
When the solution finally hit me i felt a total fool as it is really simple (though i wouldn't say obvious)
Clearly multiple ways to solve some sections here, the sign of a great map.
Good job!
Well designed and executed map. I usually reserve 5's for the best of the best (what, great isn't good enough for you?) but this one is just so well done I just couldn't give it a 4.
