Description

What's so wrong with being adopted? I bet Wheatley never had real parents. Being Adopted is my fourth. I usually upload to myApertureLabs, but they're down for maintenance, and I was too excited to wait. I might upload some other maps of mine later. Have fun, and feel free to stop and smell the testing!

This map was tons of fun! Loved the Wheatley Humor. Lot's of things to do in this map. Laser puzzle was interesting - not sure if there is a bug there - I managed to activate it without hitting all the buttons -. Other than that great work - keep it up!

what is that other glass encased room with the button and turret/cube? is there a way to get in there? is it an easter egg?

Nice use of funnels, been some time since I had a radio along for a while. Thanks for creating.

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

Map suffers from a botched intro, but is otherwise strong enough to stand on its own. There's just something non-sequitur in that first catwalk sequence, mismatched with the rest of the map. Leave that out, and what you've got is a flowing if simple example of Clean.

I have the maneuvering skills of a one-toed blind sloth, so this map was a bit frustrating at the start. At first I didn't like the misdirection tricks: two buttons turn off death, next turns it on; some laser bells are checked when activated, others aren't; broken glass gets you within sight of easter egg, but not to it. By the end, though, I felt it was very like Wheatley: you're not sure if he's murderously clever or just plain stupid.

I wouldn't enjoy a whole lot of this, but a small dose is OK. To discourage you from making another like this, 3/5.

What KennKong said about the laser puzzle in the last part: I didn't pay so much attention to the wall sings but to the actual laser bells to see if they are activated. Therefore, it took me forever to realize that I had solved the puzzle, it was just that the bells didn't light up.

The map had a simple riddle, but it was fun playing thorugh it. I haven't seen any bugs and the easteregg with the observation room was also a nice idea. 4/5!
