Nice Maps - easy to follow - all elements worked fine - it seemed a bit laggy at times - but fun to play - liked the music and the GlaDos voice. Keep up the good work!

Yup, a bit laggy sometimes (Like near the faith plate or at the map entrance) but not bad overall.
Many misaligned textures, you might want to work on that.

It also can be done without using the funnel (I have used it, but there're like 3 or 4 more ways to solve that chamber)

Fairly simple puzzles, but they are at least functional. In the second puzzle, the portal surface below the funnel needs to be raised a little bit, as it will damage you if you try to pass through a portal on that surface. Also, from a design perspective, the button in the second puzzle that reverses the direction of the funnel is completely unnecessary. You can simply leap into the funnel, ride it to the redirect cube, and then travel back towards the origin of the funnel via a parallel funnel.

I've been doing least portal runs of custom maps. Here's what I did here:

Wow, really need to test my map more thouroughly (and get better play testers). I'll work on fixing the issues, i noticed that nobody used my intended solution in the second chamber where i used the portal surface under the funnel to push the cube out of the funnel it starts in then used the reverse funnel to pull it back towards the portal surface next to where you're standing. Well done for finding faults in my brain!

I've uploaded v1.1 which fixes the skips made in John 11's video and also changed the second test chamber to make my intended solution more viable

I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

Well done Djinndrache, you win the prize for the first person to actually use the intended solution to the second chamber

Nice map and good puzzle in second chamber - fun with funnels - I didn't know you could push a cube up at an intersection - nice.
thanks for creating.

It is quite good for a first map. I look forward to seeing your contributions. Few things though: It seems quite odd that the funnel goes through the glass, if that is the effect you are going for, I recommend replacing it with a light bridge. Also, there are quite a few places it is possible to get stuck in. The first is if you go through the first grills without the cube, and the second is if you ride the funnel to the glass. Also, I recommend you look into portal placement helpers for the first test chamber. Other than that, really good job.

Apologies, I broke the 2nd chamber as well:

It's possible to portal behind the glass and just lift the cube over the glass wall

I like your intended solution so I hope you can find a way to fix it

Your unconventional method for blocking the cube but not the funnel took me a minute or two to understand what was going on. I would have just dropped the cube next to the funnel and just let the player use portals as usual, but your method is valid, if strange.

Faithplate flings are more fun to execute when you have some airtime before the portal. Slamming into the ceiling isn't much fun. Why not put your faithplate target on the other side of the room and send the player for a real ride?

This is a little simple and rough around the edges, but it is a pretty decent effort for a first map. 3/5.
