who can complete this map and upload the video to youtube? it has my balls swollen
Hehehehe... funny post!
I had the time last night to play for 1 hour only. I've collected the cube and passed through the first door to the chamber where the funnel is located; then I've managed to get the cube from first chamber to this funnel-chamber.
I'm now at the funnel room WITH the cube and I'm trying to pass the laser-field. I've got an idea I'll try this evening and see if I can complete the map and upload a playthrough...
I played this map yesterday and my head still aches. :p
I got past the first chamber and I'm currently in the room with the lasers and the towers. I think I know what to do there (the funnel is still active and I got a cube), but I haven't figured out how to get back to paint the cube. But I'll give it another try this evening.
Great map so far. I hope, I won't get too frustrated.
It's a REAL pleassure to let you all know that I've just SOLVED IT!!!
The video is rendering and it will be ready within a few hours!
Chander, I really think this could be the best of your cards (as you like to say...). After having the pleassure of being the first one in solving some of your puzzles and post the solution, I would like you to know that this one is by far the one that I consider the most risky, creative and complex of them all.
I really mean it.
I have spent only 2 "moments" in solving it though: a first approach last night, and tonight. And I have REAAAAAAALLLY enjoyed much to spend all my efforts and neurons beating such an awesome puzzle. I'm so excited and I wanted to share this with you and the forum. Total playing time around 5 hours, but I won't upload a blind playthrough because I'm interested in post the solution ASAP. Anyway, it's around 35 min. video.
I have enjoyed much realising each of the tricky ways you wanted us to discover to get through to the end.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR MAPPING, MAN
IMPRESSIVE
(video to follow)
EDIT: I would like to mention how I really loved the mood or atmosphere of this map. With map n?5 I already discovered Chander's special taste for rusty textures, sober look, partially clean areas, etc. But I think with this one he has improved much and define finner his style. I LOVED the "indicator lights" (in quotation marks because at some parts they are NOT even lights!) because I think they are so MINIMALISTIK. All these details, altogether with his good mapping skills, makes his maps, not simply puzzles, but also an attention to details that we really appreciate.
Looking forwarder to see the next challenge!
OK, there you go:

Chander please, tell me how near of the intended solution I was (even though I really think there are not many ways in this puzzle). Thanks!
EDIT: the only part I haven't edited is the latest chamber and it took me around 20 min. to get the damn blue-painted cube through the towers until its final position!

Somethings borked with the video. It says "Video is not available".
The video is not broken, It's not still fully processed (finishing uploading: 98%). Await some minutes! Thanks
Excellent map... and kudos to josepezdj for being able to figure it out. I could only reach the tower room with the cube and with one portal admitting the tractor beam, but failed to get a painted cube there... Then I stopped trying after an hour of playthrough, once the solution was put up
Looking forward to more...

Thanks mate!
After I realized that in the final chamber it would be impossible to use a non-painted cube and I started to ask myself: why should the light bridge be put right there driving you to the toxic slime room? I began to try different approaches: the first one was to jump into the funnel with the painted cube some "meters" behind me, then portal the funnel at the end of the toxic-slime room trying to make the cube bounce against the light bridge and jump straight on again to reach the funnel back placed crosswise... to be finally grabbed by me at the end of the funnel, at the ledge of the final chamber
I tried that for 1 hour without success until I figured out about painting the light bridge and sincronizing myself with the cube into the funnel. But ey, if I would have managed to get the cube bounce on the light bridge and return to the funnel, it would have been an amazing alternative solution, wouldn't it? (I don't dismiss to go back there and manage to get it and post it!!)
Sorry, have to pass on this one - I got massively frustrated just watching "josepezdj" run. ........................
Chander, pls post the intended solution as a spoiler! It hurts to watch jospepezdj's last 20 min, it must be about something else than boncing-luck
Cool map btw!
I love Chander maps - but this one is bit like a Jonaton (too hard).
The cube was an awesome technique to use repulsion gel to get it to the other room and then I assumed I could set it on the ledge to block the laser. GENIUS idea !!! But no, the ledge is a tad too far from the laser and besides there is no cleaner to allow it to stay on the ledge. Well OK, but to then to have to bounce it off the wall above so that it flies 30 feet across and accurately lands in the funnel ? That was a bit much.
Hopefully the intended solution is more direct than what it seems.
Hi,on some maps have a problem with textures, like in this map, pink and black textures, any solution? Please help

I play Portal 2 with the latest patches on XP 32bit, in 1680x1050 resolution on GTX 275 with the latest drivers.
Thanks for the advice
wow what a great map! took me some well enjoyed hours to figure out
i think i used the same solution for the funnel as josepezdj did...
when i passed the lasers on my first attempt i noticed that the cube was following me and after i saw the second cube and the laserbridge i noticed that their only useage is for regaining a blue cube if u lost the first one. so actually these elements are not nessesairy for the solution. or is there another one?
anyway heres my playthrough..

Not as hard to figure out as some of your previous deviousness, and also not as hard to execute. The first time through was very hard, as I had to go back to get the first cube, and the first two times I tried to bring it with me, it apparently fizzled before it found the funnel. I got smarter the second time through; I pinned it above the doorway.
It took so damn long for that cube to find its way through the maze. On the third playthrough, I timed it from the time it reached the "crosswalk". 8 freaking minutes before the funnel finally grabbed it. However, I had watched marKlu's playthrough, and his swimming upstream in the funnel trick saved that much at least (I had forgotten about that trick.)
I would suggest a trigger_catapult in the crosswalk to help things along, without changing the puzzle one bit.
Another superb 5/5 effort. You should package all your levels in a mod and call it "Portal: The Hard Way"!

The console should tell you in red text what your missing or at least give a hint as to why its not showing up
Out of curiosity, I no-clipped and placed the regular cube without gel on it into the final funnel and it rises one inch ABOVE the laser crosshairs and will not open the door. I am mystified why the gel cube opens the door and keeps it open whereas the regular cube won't.
At any rate, getting a tiny splotch of gel on the light bridge was way too painful. Then at the end I was already steamed and my cube bounced for 20 minutes through the maze. It was almost there - then it went back down the other way.
At that point I quit and was so mad I smashed my mouse into several pieces. I will never do that again but I just lost it.
very nice map,
i solved it without the need of light bridge, using my first cube to solve the tower room. Did anybody do that?
i've never found a chander_test_1, never released that?
Took me quite some time to do this blindrun. Tough map

Djinndrache, I've said it before but I wanna say it again.
Thank GOD there is someone doing true Blind Runs. It is somehow so entertaining for us peons to watch someone actually struggle, shooting about aimlessly when steamed . . even once in a while jumping right in the acid bath when royally frustrated - ROFL !!! But in then end . . somehow finding a solution.
That left-right shuffle to NOT move while in the funnel at 35:20 was a first for me. I never knew you could do that.
This is great stuff.
No solutions for the updated map version? D=
I've got just as far as everyone in the other videos, but now there's a fizzler attached to a timer in my way..
And of course got it right after posting...
When you're bringing the painted cube like Djinndrache does it, stop on the hard light bridge, hit the timer, then bounce back up to the tractor beam (you have to paint the bridge)
I think this is the only map with no solution so far. So here is what I came up with:
yOARQ_SnJjg
I didn't know, that some important part of solution was posted three months ago. It's interesting, that even with that tip nobody posted full solution. And just to let you know, painting the bridge is really nerve-racking
