Description

This is my first experience of mapping.So here is a little map with an easy laser puzzle.But the puzzle is not the main point of the map.Much more attention I gave to things around the puzzle. Any feedbacks are wellcome. EDIT : version 1.1 - fixed unintended solution version 1.2 - fixed another unintended solution

Fun map. The laser puzzles were about as hard as I can stand - well done. The map environment was interesting decayed style - really liked the effects after the first laser solution. Thanks for creating.

Nice little laser puzzle. I like the mappers who do not only care about the puzzle but also about the environment and stuff around the puzzle.

When you upload a fix make sure the zip file name is not the same as the previous one or the file will not update

I like that the destroyed style made the puzzle work. For some mappers, falling panels and such are just eye-candy. Here there is synergy between form and function. At first I thought it was just too short to get a 4, but that damnit moment kept it alive. Then I found you could get stuck on the far side, and it fell to a 3/5 from me.

I played version 1.2 If you use the second solution the first time, the falling panel becomes irrelevant. I can do this puzzle in four portals. However, I seriously doubt the casual player would find that much less obvious solution the first time. Speedrunners will exploit this, of course, but let them have their warped version of fun.

The intented solution require quite different approach.

Well, it said 1.2 when I downloaded it, but you have since uploaded another file, in which it doesn't work.

EDIT2: I just watched a2912871's solution. Made me look like a moron, wasting all those portals, and using a tricky reentrant portal solution at the end.
EDIT3: Earlier today, I played another laser puzzle by FourthReaper, which I compared with Jonatan's map Seven Gates by calling it One Gate. This one is Two Gates!

Ok,Kenny,that is almost what I intended. Although a2912871 have suggested another way I didn't even consider.So let it be.

As a first map, I liked it. You can get stuck near the exit if you delete your portasls though. And I solved it this way, which I think isn't intended, but I can't find another way: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/f ... =308497763
