I've Decided to take on a project which I think hopefully will benefit the community.
What others have done for their projects has been to record a blind run of the maps they played. Me however, I have decided to Upgrade and re-make maps which score 2/5 or lower on the DLC.
To start of what hopefully will be a good collection of upgraded maps (and hopefully to show the mappers which recieved the lower rating marks what they could do to their maps to potentially turn it into a 3/5 or higher!)
Below is the list maps I have remade:

Additional stuff:
These maps are my own view on how to upgrade, I do not take full creative rights over what the original map creator wanted intended solutions to be, nor how the map wanted to look like. I have referenced the original map creators link page, and name so others can view their work too.
I have attempted to keep the map to look or feel like the original, however putting my own twist on it and or updating the looks or feel of map
i actually feel completely stupid btw... >.< worked so hard at correcting the origonal fault in that it was too easy, and litrully forgot about the easiest solution! HAHA

Previous map, you could use the cube to open the door without doing special portal placements... now a little harder ^^
I found you don't need portals.
You can easily place the redirection cube so that it activates the laser receptor even with the little piece of wall that is suppose to block this as a solution.
Continue testing.
Why re-make bad maps?
95% of the time bad maps have bad puzzles, making the room look better won't fix the bad puzzle.
Most very bad maps have a very simple puzzle that is inserted in a wrong way. Fixing this will only leave a very simple puzzle. IF you would have added 10 of these crappy rooms it might be interesting but one crappy map upgraded so it can still be solved without a portal gun? No thanks.

I feel totally ashamed of myself, but let me explain a few things.
The map I have at the moment, is a fully functioning map so theoretically I couldn't release it into WIP because it is not work in progress (theoretically)
My original thought for this was to take some poorly made, or rendered maps and improve the looks and feel of it and maybe the puzzles to hopefully show the people who did create the original puzzle what could be achieved. Apparently this is not one of my best ideas as shown by the lack of good reviews on (Yes, an easy map) The map.

No, the original download came with the vmf attached. I rebuilt the level around this, improving on certain parts (or butchering depending on how to see it). I stated where the original map was from, and also explained on the original post what I was up to. there is always the possibility the person who owns the original creative rights as such to the map could turn around and say to me to remove it and I will do so.
Now, I feel ashamed that I have done this because of the feedback given. So... I will make it up to you all.. Give me a week or two and ill show you what this map could really become if a little attention was shown to it

I enjoyed your previous maps and I like the idea of this project. So far I am interested. Keep up the good work! Will obviously rate later on 
Man, Silic, you have a couple of great maps, and I don't really think that you really have to play as the Robin Hood of poor puzzles or something like that!
I think you've got creativeness enough for making your own stuff. We all appreciate your good will though, but I don't really think it's a good idea...
