Short and simple but nice. And you get to kill some turrets!

Thank mate always good to kill turrets. You can just run down towards the turrets with a cube and knock them over, but I set the map up for a bit of turret bowling.

Heh, i really enjoyed that ^^

A little short, but I love compact maps, with flings and a little climbing, etc.

Just one or two issues, like the paint not landing in the right place; I had to walk over the edge instead of jump, and those portalable surfaces that probably aren't meant to be portalable.

I'd give it a 5, but I'm withholding the last point till you make another map :p

Anyhoo, here's my blindrun, and the route I took other times =)

Good job. One suggestion I would make would be to remove the angled portal surface that is used to get to the cube button. You can get up there using the gel and it would force the player to fling the cube over instead of just portaling it

Pretty nice chamber, it was simple and short, but even still it was really well thought out. The map itself was small (in design not the puzzle itself) but I like smaller test chambers when done correctly and you sir have done just that.

I liked the map but did not like the mix of styles - seemed liked you used old style portable panels in a clean style theme. Not sure what all the panels were for - did not use them. Rather simple, but enjoyable. Thanks for making!

A nice, simple map that's fun for those who like flings. The looks were OK but disjointed in style (clean look, old portals, new fizzlers). The puzzle seems loose: I have the feeling that a speedrunner would destroy this one. Sorry, I forgot to record the blind run. 3/5.

Thanks for all the feedback and videos
I am glad most people have enjoyed the level and there is major issues.
I am going to make a few little adjustments to the map (Style/Panel and Paint Placement) and hopefully have an update out soon.

Just Uploaded new version
Added new textures, more paint and glass panels to prevent cube being tossed over front wall
Also removed a panel for fling, must use paint now

Should play a little bit different

Knowing how fun it is to watch blindruns of you're work, here's one from me!
No real problems found, other then that I failed on getting up at some places a cuple of times, you might wanna have some catapults with thresholds on the panels so you're sure people land were they should. And I didn't see what the obvious "infinite loop" panels I tried to use in the end were for.

I'll give this map 4/5, although I found the puzzles fun and interesting, the visuals weren't that great, felt a bit monotone with all those black tiles

Anyways greatly enjoyed it, thanks for making!

A couple problems:

1. It is very easy to get trapped in this map when you fall through one of the holes to perform flings. You can't portal your way out.
2. Why am I not seeing a laser field in the following screenshots?

Other than that, good map!

I have just uploaded a new version of the map that should have the correct fizzler built in.

I see alot of people are still playing version 1. Please try the new version for abit more of a challenge and hopefully a bit better looking.

Thanks to everyone for all the comments and video's about the map, I am glad your enjoying it.

That still needs to be addressed.

Thanks mate I forgot about that. Will have to find a solution for it

The change you made in v3 to make it more challenging certainly worked; I gave up. The gel doesn't seem to be in the right place for the bounce. I got the cube up there but couldn't bounce myself up there after numerous, numerous tries.

Your right it can be a bit tricky but it's definitely achievable. Trick is get your height first (without moving around) then push forward. You should then reach the room easily.

Thanks for the feedback

I have a suggestion to make it a little easier to achieve:

Cover the floor more with Repulsion Gel and tuck in the window a little bit more because I end up getting caught on it trying to do it the intended way. It makes it very frustrating to get up there otherwise.

Hey guys I finally managed to upload a new version of the map.
I decided to put the panel back into the map.
I have also made the gel spread out a little bit more so people can either use the panel or jump up just using the gel.
I have also made a few more texture changes and added a few panels to make hitting the final angled panel a little harder (you must now jump from the room down onto the gel to get enough height to shoot the portal onto the panel).
I am really happy with how the map plays now
Enjoy

Really great map. Loved the length - not to long or short. Wasn't too hard to work out but really satisfactory once I did. Awesome.

Nice chamber! I've found some bugs though.

- If you jump into any of the "fling-holes" without having a portal somewhere else you're trapped
- You don't have to use the cube to take out the turrets in the beginning. Just use the first "fling-hole" and place the other portal in front of the turrets (might not count as a bug though)

Good map. Simple yet fun. Maps doesn't need to be hard to be entertaining

True but hopefully people would prefer to do some turret bowling

I know about this one but I don't really want to start adding more panels into the map. I have tried to work around this but have had no success.
Thanks for the feedback

Fun map. Im not sure if something was wrong with the final jump's catapult target, but I almost thought I had the wrong solution because 4 times in a row I would come up just short in distance making the final jump and die. But the 5th time it just inexplicably worked. Also, there is a lot to do in this map and dying almost near the end and having to start all over is frustrating. Adding some auto-save brushes would help.

Overall, fun and enjoyable though.

The final jump you have to jump into the portal, you probably done it the fifth time without realizing and thats why you made it. I will add autosave towards the end aswell (nice idea thanks)

Great map. There are a few ways to do different thing, but it's still pretty tight in where you need to go. I would like to thank you now for including info_placement_helpers where there is a place for an infinite fall. I also really liked the lighting and how you used small pockets with BTS textures and BTS lights. It gave its own theme to the map. Great use of glass to show all the areas, and I absolutely LOVED how you could fit all that into such a small space.

My only "concern" is that there is a trigger near the water to kill objects. Could you please move it down? I've been trying a speedrun route, but the cube jump is impossible with the trigger. Thanks ahead of time
Great map, fun fling at the end, lovely style. 8/10
