You need 7zip

It allows me to make it the smallest possible, so it dosen't take forever. Standard zips take 80 mb

That was awesome!
Now you're thinking with Hammer
It was great, your choice of wording at the point where you choose to kill GLABS, if you kill him he makes you feel sad, and if you don't you fell good, all because of the wording

use 7zip. And also make sure nothing is running when you extract it. (it means memory not hard drive space)

I liked this one too. Very inventive. I especially like the choice we get to make in the end. If we want to kill him or not. Nice touch. Is the ending supposed to be the same either way? Because that's what I got.

Has anyone else had problems with the lift at the end? I can open the lift and get in it, but sometimes, it doesn't go anywhere. I pressed the buttons but nothing happens. It did work on a couple of occasions, but more often than not, it doesn't work.

Its slightly glitched. It is suppose to go right after the scene ends, and then it enables, but it has a 4-5 second delay. I only noticed this after i posted the map. The ending is slightly different, but ends up on the same map.

-Pretty glitch-tastic on the newer maps. The turrents don't fire and after throwing two of them into a slime pit, the game crashed.

-I also couldn't help but notice that half the time our companion just seems to parrot GLaDOS lines in a very bad way. Meaning that while GLaDOS was subtle with her humor, this guy just tries to be funny and fails miserably; probably because all of his lines are unoriginal.

-It also would have been better with an actual story...

-Other than those things, it looks nice and plays nice, which are both very good things.

yeah. not a single turret shot at me in this map. however, i loved these maps. i was not terribly enthused over the first one, but this one in combination with the second really made it all worthwhile. i loved when you have to use turrets to push the buttons and climb the ledges, very inventive

It is not suppose to crash when you put the turrets in the slime pit. Also, the turrets do work. I dont know whats wrong with your computer lol

edit: I just downloaded it again, and re imported it, no problems here.

The last one. Two turrets are angled so their lasers cross. I used them to climb up the steel walls of the last room, then set them on the buttons to activate the door. They stayed activated even when I knocked them over, but they never fired.

If you put them in the goo pit, he gives you a friendly one, so it dosen't destroy you if you are on the other side of the bridge.

I just checked the vmf, they have normal settings (fast retire and start active).

Winzip is crap. WinRar or just the built in windows zipping tool works fine.

Winrar for the fucking win.

I don't use any lameass cheats like notarget and such, and it seems that other people have had this problem as well so you might want to find it out because it seems to be on your end of the stick.

Ya, you have to be like 32 units away from the door so you dont jump into the closing door, and glitch it

Wow. Really nice map pack (so far). I am stuck on Test Chamber 32. I am pretty sure you are supposed to use portal tunneling to put the portal on the platform so you can jump to the exit, but I keep falling in the pit whenever I shoot the portal onto the platform and it is starting to tick me off. How are you supposed to do it?

Edit: I was shooting the wrong color Portal, oops. Okay, I figured it out. And once again, really nice map pack ;D

I have no digs with 7-zip, but for some reason your upload was giving me trouble. Tryed DL'ing to from the database 3-4 times and, although it wouldn't error out, it just wouldn't extract. Getting it from the rapidshare link up there ^

I had problems extracting the 7z-version, it gave me corrupt files and Portal did hang.
Now I wanted to try the RAR-Version, but I can't download it, because the limit is already reached.
Anyone who can send me that by chance? I don't want to wait until it is free again, whenever that may be...

Edit:
Never mind, after reading some messages of the thread I found out how to extract correctly.
Yeah, it worked. Great maps!
