Description

Second part of MiniPuzzles series This is second puzzle of MiniPuzzles-series. Sorry to keep you waiting :) This is more quality map than first one, but this is keeping same unique style. This pack doesn't includes advanced version, but this includes MiniChallenge: Least Portals Challenge. There is new kind of game element too: Antilaser. Cubes, Fizzlers and Love :) Comment and rate, and I promise that there will be part 3 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ improvements: -Lighting -Map is little bit longer -THERE ARE CUBEMAPS -This map is five time beta-tested, so there is not bugs. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ If you have any problem, read the "DontReadMe", even it forbids!

I finished my second map, Cubelogy, at least. I'm gained more skills, so this is more quality map, and there are cubemaps. This map includes new game-element too, there is more info in file description. And now there is my own made picture on MiniPuzzles folder. Map's gameplay is same kind of as PuzzleOne is. Same unique style. This includes one challenge too.

Wow, That was the first map in a while that made me think. One thing though, you forgotten your aperture_ai or actor_ai. Other then that, nice work.

Another great map from you, made me actually think
I missed glados when detaching a camera and that's all why it should be there, however, I didn't miss the glados quotes about "impossible chamber" etc, we all have heard them 100 times before, you know
Some walls should have been portalable, but they were not (use a nonportalable texture for them), and sometimes the portal bumpers were missing.
But, yeah, the puzzle was very interesting

Niice map, messed around a bit before I really understood what I needed to do.

Did you use portal bumpers? I had trouble placing portals at some locations.

I managed the 17 portals in my first try at the challange, but 14? that requires more thoroughly thinking

Ok I'll try to make time challenge later, and yeah there is portal bumpers, but they don't work, I don't know why...

Great map. This one made you think. I managed to get the cube to the button under the floor by balancing the cube on the button in the side room that shuts of the particle field. After I put a portal next to the particle/force field in the floor in the main room, I stood on the button that turns that off and shot a portal at the wall the cube was leaning against. It tumbled through the portal and down to the button beneath the floor. I don't know if that's how it was supposed to be solved, but it worked for me.

Yeah, it is the trick, but you didn't have to lean the cube to a wall, you were supposed to get the cube into the square room with arrows on the floor (I suppose that is its purpose) and shoot a portal under the cube.

Wtf lol this must be the strangest solution ever. I managed the Golden least Portals! Really something u need to think trough quite alot.

Great job on this one. Really made me think. Not sure why you can't put portals on the angled concrete walls, that's kind of odd. The portal bumper thing annoyed me, but it's my pet peeve in Portal maps. If the bumbers aren't working try making them a func_non_portal_volume, it's worked for me in the past. I did kind of miss GLaDOS making some kind of remark when the camera falls. Funny we miss that but none of the other overused quotes.

One very small suggestion and I admit this is getting picky but you may want to start using "mitered" edges. I'll try to explain what I mean. When making a window frame (for example) instead of just putting your vertical brushes on top of your horizontal ones, make all the corners at 45 degree angles. Use the Vertex tool to do this. When you apply the textures they will blend and look smoother. Here's a sample, the one on the right is mitered:

Again, I know this is very picky but take it as a compliment that this is the only visual suggestion I could come up with.

Other than that great map, good looking, fun to play. Keep up the good work.

thanks ammd. I and skinnycap are working one companion cube map but it's going very slow.. I'm keeping break from mapping, but I think that you will see that map someday
