Nice map. A lot of work made with all the structures and metal grids. It is solvable with just 1 cube though, so part of the beginning chamber is useless unless you avoid people can pass to the part where the n?6 is printed in the wallyou can easily get there by simply walking on the left after being jumped with first blue gel. Easy puzzles but funny.
Cheer up!
... that you knew about :-p
Can you please record a demo of the single-cube solution, and any unintended solutions, so I can better understand how to redesign those areas?

This is a custom map, anything canon does not apply.
Dear god man! it took me 100 hours to make (I don't use instances!) and you completed it in 58 seconds :-p
Going to have to sort that out. The video is hugely helpful and I thank you for taking the time to make it. Shows me exactly where to place some wooden boards and noportal_volumes
Was that your first run? if not, approximately how long did it take for you to complete it? I've ran it so many times I can no longer see things from a first-time player perspective.
Once again thanks from a fellow LOST fan
P.S My Portal2 installation is broken, care to volunteer a screenshot I can post for this thread? use noclip!
That's my second playthrough: in the first I found that same route, but it took me ~5 mins just to look around and spot the exit. Screenshots:

Thanks for the screenshots!
The intended solution is as follows:
Press button for blue paint, press button for box, place box on button, very big bounce off blue through massive doors.
Get second box, cover large lower central and upper areas with orange paint, use flings to get box on second button, fling again through the exit, then liberal use of blue and orange paints and lo bounce and flings to the exit
It's a nice map. But it's SO exploitable. I didn't even need to use any gel to get to the exit (and not using any major shortcuts). Here's a video:

This is another major shortcut:
QVG5gcVGFEg
Also if you put a cube under the crusher, nothing good happens.
You can also fizzle your cubes, I don't complain about that, just saying.
I think that this map need a lot of work to make it less exploitable.
That's exactly why I'm putting this here in WIP, and seeking your help. Thanks very much for everything you've said. I shall study these videos carefully...
There's a few things that I enjoy about this map and a few glaring problems that need a good deal of work. First and foremost, the biggest issue here is the exploits - it's very easy to portal snipe around the map. This is because of the "open" feeling you've given the map and the liberal use of grates and gaps. Visually, it's interesting, but it's easily exploitable.
Second, it's very difficult to tell exactly what the next step is in your map. The first puzzle was a tad congested and we didn't get a very good view on why the button and box and opening/closing wall was important. The second puzzle is also odd - there's a homemade crusher, yet it moves too slow to provide any threat. I didn't use any speed gel in that area except to get up to the next puzzle. The final puzzle is also a bit perplexing - why were the two white walls facing each other important? I used the method found in xdiesp's video as the way to get up there. Maybe using the speed gel to propel yourself up was also a solution? I'd like to see that method a bit more reinforced, because it'd be way more interesting than just using the repulsion gel.
I think with some work, you can really get these kinds of maps to go places. Work on the exploits and making your areas organized and clear, and I think you will be set, my friend.
Oddness is what I'm all about. Thanks for your comments. Expect a new release soon with a revised layout.
I beat it in under 30 seconds...
I'll post a video

Thank you, thank you very much everyone!
xD
I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

That video was genuinely fascinating, especially the first part. Thank you muchly for it! Your experience, and figuring things out is pretty much what I wanted. Again, thanks.
Both of the exits need to be more fiendish :-p

So how long will it be before v2 is released?
This is my only release so far, but this is the second map in a series of eight, as stated in the first post.
Good news, everyone! I'm working on a second release right now.

How close are you to releasing v2?
One quick thing I want to point out before I say anything else, the cube isn't old Aperture style, it's new style. I don't know if it's that way on purpose or not, I just thought I'd point it out.
It's an excellent map. Very nice design, it took me about 5 minutes to solve. The puzzle weren't too hard, though that's not a problem to me. It was unclear what to do in the last part near the exit, I had to noclip there.
Overall wonderful map
