I'm looking for constructive criticism rather than praise for this map. It's My first portal map, as you can probably tell. There are pretty obvious texture mishaps that I could not for the life of me figure out how to fix. Not even sure how I got those Portal 2 textures, but they were there and I thought it'd be a refreshing change from the original Portal's textures that I'd seen. The map itself is extremely easy and pretty short. It doesn't use any new puzzle solving techniques and I just borrowed ideas from the main game as well as other maps. The Portal 2 theme that play near the end of the map is a rip from the trailer courtesy of Cobaiy and of course Valve for the music itself. Tell me what you like and dislike. EDIT: I used pakrat to manually insert all the textures that I used. Along with some models and a >WAV that I made of the portal 2 theme that should play near the end. If anything is still messed up, please let me know and be specific so I can find the missing texture or model more easily.

Chell suddenly finds herself in an alternate dimension. Things go from simple minded to having no mind at all. This first chamber is just a basic idea of what I have planned. Lemme know what you think of the concept.

This element adds support for making 1, 2, 3, 4 number annotations on the floors and walls much like existing Portal 1 and 2 maps do. The numbers are indicated with dots. You can see an example screenshot here: http://bisqwit.iki.fi/kala/ptal2/dice_signages.png To use, place the element on ground. Use the "Cube type" option to select the type of sign. Standard = 1 dot Companion = 2 dots Sphere = 3 dots Franken = 4 dots The element can be moved around within the voxel the same way as lightpanels can. Use Reflective, if you want to rotate the dot around (to place it in a diagonal orientation), before assigning it the correct type and place.

Fling Thing - Level 26

My first mapping attempt - Fling thing is a small portal level revolving around the fling. Hopefully not too easy, playtime should be somewhere around 15 minutes. I'd really appreciate feedback on the design and what could be done to improve it. Ver 1.0.1 Includes: A Readme A slight modification to reduce failed flings Decals on the walls to make portal walls more obvious
