This is my second Portal 2 custom map, with 6 testchamber. I posted it as single player wip as well because I started it as a normal map with custom music and texts and less hint (removed them from this). But since it must be a standalone map and maybe not all tester played my first training one with funnel/bridge climbing, I had to put more than usualy signage in the first room, sorry for that. The map is bigger than normal, the challenges are just a little above medium (for the casual players). It was made to be fun and not too difficult. Since my first map had a destroyed theme, I've decided I'll make this with a clean look with minor bts things. Pls report missing/misplaced textures, errors/bugs/exploits. Walkthrough video in case you stuck: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oev-OPKDMkQ - optimized it a bit for smaller filesize - fizzed room6 so after throwing the ball out you can't portal out thru the hole - added a sign to room 5 + some bugfix steamid: damagepy

A small map of medium difficulty. The solution is not difficult to execute. There is also a challenge version included, called sp_bounded_c, which is slightly harder. Some important points: 1. The yellow field fizzles objects, but NOT portals. 2. There is a small delay before death lasers actually get activated. So there's a time gap between your pressing the relevant button and the death field turning on. This is not a hint, but something that can be eventually noticed - I just want to save the player's time. 3. To prevent tight timing (and increasing the height of the room), I modified the death fields slightly so that even if you touch the lasers while ascending, there is be a small time interval before you're killed. So you can still get out safely even if you touch the lasers (FROM BELOW) briefly. You can test it to get a better idea. 4. The cube button in the 2nd room saves the game when activated (just a reminder to those who don't quick-save often). It doesn't do anything except that. View "ReadMe.txt" for installation instructions. Special thanks to HeadShot, Jacu, KennKong and RogerL for playtesting (the normal version only, not the challenge one), coming up with unintended (and intended) solutions, and providing feedback and tips. And to FourthReaper for the nice custom texture/functionality.

My first released map, it's a pretty straight forward 3 part puzzle. Not a lot of dexterity puzzles, it's mostly a make you think map. I'm also introducing two new elements in this map, my Hardlight Catchers and Hardlight Reflectors. These devices work as switches, activated when a hardlight bridge hits them, and the reflectors do just that, reflect the hardlight bridge off of them. (pictures below) I'm interested to see what people think of them and to get some feed back on their use and appearance as well as the rest of the puzzles and such in my map. I'd love some blind play through videos and any feed back is always appreciated! A small, rather easy map that focuses on teaching people a flinging technique often used in custom maps: using a height difference to gain more momentum. It's not a very complicated puzzle like previous maps I made, but I need to save some good puzzles for Portal Stories! Hope you enjoy! ~Lp

Every puzzle in this level revolves around using the speed and jump gels. This is the second level in a series of 5. Fun With Gravity Fun With Funnels - (Community Roundup) Version 1.1: Made a change to the second room Took the files out of the vpk Version 1.2: Reverted room two back to its original form. Moved faith plates in room three to the center of the room, so the player does not land on them. Version 1.3: Removed the vpk file.

This map is not in the really difficult category from a puzzle perspective, however it does require some quick and accurate portaling, especially in the second chamber. There are two chambers included, the second one being harder than the first. The two chambers revolve around flinging cubes and balls. Version 1.2 fixes an issue with cheats in the first and second chambers and also fixes up several other little issues.

This is my entry for the contest, using a new gameplay mechanic and some old ones too. Three chambers long, and its 3am so I cant remember my name let alone my sales pitch. Tested with the help of tf2maps.net.
