Pillar
This is my first map but it turned out pretty well. It's not quite done yet, I still have to do texturing and add some details to pretty it up a bit. The gameplay is done however, so let me know what you think. I haven't had anyone playtest the map yet so I'm not really sure of the difficulty, and if you could post a video of you first playthrough it would really help with improving the map. Anyways, it's a pretty simple map where you have to rotate a pillar with lasers on it in order to reach the end. Everyone likes spinning lasers, right? Hope you like it, and let me know if you have any issues. UPDATE - Made some minor changes to the level layout to help guide the player - Added entrance and exit elevators

GLaDOS wakes you up, because now is the time to test with momentum... I cannot get the elevator instance to work... i will check my game cache as soon as possible and reupload it. Have fun flying through the air.
[WIP SP] Basic Puzzles
First off, this is my first map. Now, before you click away, I assure you that this map is unlike almost every other first map. I put actual time and effort into making Basic Puzzles play well and look good. There are no gigarooms or terribly aligned textures. This map has rooms that fit the puzzles, great texturing, autosaves, and more. The goal of Basic Puzzles is for me to learn the ins and outs of Hammer. Every testing element will be used at least once. So far I have used: Flinging Light bridges Excursion Funnels Thermal Discouragment Beams At the moment, there is no exit elevator. This is because I will soon be adding more chambers, so it's pointless for me to make a new elevator after every update. Once the map is complete, I will add an exit elevator. Once you finish the 3rd chamber, the map is done. I would appreciate it if you would record your first playthrough so I can see where I can make improvements. Also, please rate this map what you think it deserves. Known Bugs: Texturing around doors is a bit wacky. Edges of glass lights are buggy.
Get all the cubes from the turrets
Let me know how I can change this map. Also tell me how to copy and paste so I can have the door smoother.
Observating WIP
So the idea is: You just escaped from GLaDOS and now you are walking around in the observation rooms, trying to get out. You notice that she got a new test subject. You get flashbacks from the tests the person is doing. This is mostly a performance game. No hard puzzles. Put on your headphones or turn up you volume a little. Go explore. Maybe you find small eastereggs... (I haven't finished up the eastereggs yet.) There is going to be both a winning and a losing way... Yet there is only a losing way... Enjoy

[SP WIP] PORTAL 2 : After Math
Hi, This is going to be my very first game map. I have never made any game maps or anything related to 3D before. Most of you must have played the Peer Review DLC by now. I wanted to release this map before the DLC but I really didn't have time. Well better late than never. The map consists of 2 short and 1 medium length chambers. My map is very less detailed , about 1/10th detail of the maps made by pros here. There is a readme file included for setup instructions. Suggestions, criticisms, trapped areas, not intended solutions , and all other feedback are welcome. I may not have time to fix every minor issue but do specify if you found any(may help me in the future). Also this is the first time I am uploading something online for the public. So I need to know some answers fast even if you like my map or not. 1. Did I upload it right? 2. Does my map run? 3. Do the custom music and material work? Haven't worked on optimizations and will not unless really necessary. Known issues: 1. I am using instances/gameplay/animated_pushout_128.vmf instance provided by Valve. The problem is that when you portal and go through it you see some 'grid lines' on the panel. 2. Skybox cuts a little. 3. portal gun pedestal 'close floor' are black.
