A map that makes good use of the Excursion Funnel in Portal 2, not to mention a little surprise that you have to figure out on your own.

Postmodern Puzzle

Aperture Laboratories have hired a postmodern artist to increase the visual appealingness of their testchambers. After he had four attacks of selfpity on the first day, Aperture has discovered that computers do the same work 13% faster and 128% more aestheticful. -------- Very first own Portal map. Comments and Critism are requested. EDIT: I have edited the map now. People complained that it was too bright for them and the doors caused problems. The light was changed and the doors look really bad right now but should work. I will try to fix this tomorrow.

A single co-operative test chamber and my first. This is also the first map i've ever made to completion, this single co-op chamber should not be too hard to beat for anyone with a good sense of lateral thinking (or sign reading). This is the product of a bet I made to myself to be able to finish a map properly and will hopefully be the first of many. This test chamber is set in the ruined Aperture facility and revolves around the Aerial Faith Plate, Repulsion Gel and Excursion Funnel, among others. Compared to the later co-op test chambers this isn't too hard, but good luck anyway! (So named for Dant?'s Inferno) http://www.youtube.com/v/SRJUQxQ06RY&hl ... &version=3

This is a multi-part puzzle created for the My Aperture Labs contest. It gets harder as you progress, and several of the parts are interconnected and must be reused. Most of the time it is not obvious what to do next. Most people will probably find this level to be very difficult, but it is solvable without using any hacks or glitches (e.g., ?portal tunneling?). Note: Unfortunately I don't know of a way to have a second "scenes.image" file specifically for this map. So, for now, the voices are played by ambient_generics rather than scenes, and subtitles are faked by game_texts.

This map was supposed to be the first map in a mappack I've never managed to work on. The puzzle emphasizes different usage of blue portals. It is very easy and short but level difficulty is similar to original Portal.

A three test map in a destroyed theme with Wheatley observing your tests. The puzzles were originally created by Imanex, Waqlerg, and L1zardr0ckets. The music was created by Powerpunchclan and Morgoth. Custom fizzlers by LPfreaky90 and FourthReaper. I had a lot of trouble uploading this to the workshop, so I figured I'll upload it here and call it a night. Comments and unintended solutions are appreciated.

Positive Discouragement - Chamber 01

"Positive Discouragement" is a small map pack that I'm working on. I decided that I might as well upload this here, instead of having it sit around on my computer until I finish all the maps, but I'm not going to upload it to the Workshop until they're all done. So for now, you'll have to do it the old-fashioned way! (place the .bsp in your "portal 2/portal2/maps" folder) ====== This chamber is the intro chamber, so it -isn't supposed to be super hard -is meant to be the most destroyed of them all. I fashioned it after 'sp_a2_dual_lasers' On a side note, this map is a VisLeaf mess. Guess how many numportals? Almost 3500. I didn't know how to make 3D skyboxes at the time, but now I see that I really should've used that, as it would've saved me so much trouble and time. I may revamp it before the workshop release. Anyway, enjoy! Don't forget to leave feedback, it is much appreciated. ====== Changelog: 1.0 -Release 1.1 -Changed the BTS area -Reworked the map so that it doesn't use linked_portal_doors -Changed some trigger_look settings -Fixed a broken animation on one of the fizzlers ====== A big thanks goes out to Lpfreaky90. If it weren't for her and her troubleshooting ability, this map wouldn't even exist. I'm serious. Hammer was telling me there was a leak in the middle of the void so I couldn't compile. Also, thank you to Stimich, who helped me beta-test!

Map Pack for Portal This map pack is designed to be a moderate challenge for players who have played Portal. The initial puzzles are designed in such a way that they don't require much thinking and players can skim through them, experienced players might find them a bit boring. The difficulty ramps up significantly midway through the map pack, with the later puzzles requiring thinking and at times quick maneuvering and precise timing. All the puzzles contained in this map pack are doable without the use of cheats or exploits. Features:- a) 15 completely new test chambers. b) Optimized and fully detailed maps to make them feel more Valve like. c) New puzzle elements like player controlled moving platforms, laser field, etc. d) An explosion filed easter egg. (Good luck finding it)

Hey guys, its been a while since I released a map, so here it is! This map was made in a week, and it consists of two chambers. Special thanks to my friend (iStarStruck) for designing Chamber 1! Chamber 2 was designed by me, and both chambers were made by me. This map was purely made in Hammer. Note: This map is not part of the JFTC series, its just a stand-alone map. Note 2: If you don't really care about the test chamber sign, ignore the "scripts" folder. Difficulty: Medium Size: Medium Theme: Clean, Behind the Scenes Testing elements present: -Laser Field -Angled panel -90? panel -Excursion Funnel (polarity change) -Repulsion Gel -Propulsion Gel -Thermal Discouragement Beam (and its receptacle) -Discouragement Redirection Cube -Fizzlers -Basic elements (cubes, buttons, switches...etc) Remember to rate it and comment about what you think about it! Changelog: v1.0-v1.1 -Fixed unintended solutions --Made Chamber 2 larger --Reduced white surfaces on the room in Chamber 2 -Included an "angled wall version" of the map for players who are having problems with the angled panel (such as bmail) --The angled panel in the "angled wall version" is now replaced with an angled wall instead. Walkthrough: (v1.0) Warning! Spoiler alert! Only watch if you're stuck or have already completed the level!
