Great Map!
Didn't find any problem whatsoever. Everything was well indicated. It was a smooth play through. : )

Thanks a ton! This is actually the first puzzle i've ever made. I didn't expect it to get such good reviews.
Nice job on this map however I think I found a workaround because I got the Laser Redirection Cube after getting the normal cube. In the room with the normal cube dropper i was able to put the repulsion gel down on the white tiles under the laser.
Other than that I really liked this map. I normally don't like the "Clean Aperture" look but for some reason i liked the look of it a lot. The puzzle was great the level design was good too.
Hope to see some more work from you.

Holy cow, thanks man! It's you guys who keep me motivated to make more maps. I'll see what I can do to fix the gel problem.
Hi I loved the map and I hope I was of some help on your posts in the help forums. I found one bug for you. The area where the stairs rise up in the final room after you redirect the laser has a func_clip_vphysics active even when the stairs are not... as a result, I could place the cube in midair. Doesn't let you get around the puzzles, just a thought. Maybe activate it with the laser catcher along with the stairs and deactivate it the same way through the same logic_relay. Great map, loved it! Five Stars!
This was a very well put-together map.
It wasn't that difficult, but it was polished and professional.
Good job.

Just fixed the clip_vphysics. Don't know what I did, but I fixed it. So that's good.

I just played the map and the box still floats in midair there.
For me, getting the first cube was the hardest part of this map. I got the second cube and hit the button in the third room before I finally figured out how to get that first cube, haha.
Very nice map, took me a while to figure out everything, especially how to get the cubes past the emancipation field
That first puzzle was good, it was nice feeling when I finally found right solution
. I died quite many times while trying to figure it out though
No problems with visuals either!
Professional and tactic short map, open to tentative approaches - like simply portaling around and ignore the catapult. Not so logical that you can't catapult from the slated walls, however. Creatively decorated, but the moat corridor isn't in line with the rest.
Bug: the cube's physics behave like the rising panels are always there. It clashes and flies:

Ey... I don't know what to type in the console!!! I've placed the file into addons folder but what should I type in the console, because these ones don't work:
- map sp_three_rooms
- map three_rooms
....
Please include a readme file!!!!

Odd... When I played it it worked fine. I'll try uploading it again

Did you make an addons folder under portal2/portal2?

I downloaded the file again and tried, again the cube bug.
I really don't know what the problem is. I could send you the vmf so maybe you could figure it out?
Sure! If it doesn't happen to anybody else, there could be something wrong with my installation.
Yes, I've got the addons folder already created. In fact I've got many custom maps there and work out fine.
What am I supposed to type in the console? "map three_rooms_v2"??
Please let me know. Thanks

Yes. If it doesn't work, you could try extracting the .bsp into the portal2/portal2/maps folder using GCFScape http://nemesis.thewavelength.net/index.php?p=26 (it's not a shock site, I swear)
I'm playing custom maps and record my first time of playing them. So the run is not perfect and may not use only intended ways, but maybe it can let you see how other people may understand the map or you could just enjoy someone playing this map for entertainment.
Anyways, here is the recording:

Also note the video description for more feedback and my signature for additional project information.

Thanks for uploading this! It really helped me a lot. Btw, you aren't exactly supposed to stand on the cube to press the button in the third room, you're supposed to portal up to the ledge on the other side of the room and portal-fling yourself up to the button. But I will fix that in due time.

Why do people always think they have to fix something, if anyone finds an alternative solution? May there only be one way?

Well, technically, yes. It's a puzzle. There should only one solution.

The same thing happened to me. I minimized Portal 2 and placed the .vpk file into my addons folder but the console wouldn't recognize it.
Oddly enough, when I loaded Portal 2 up again, it was fine. The same happened with another map using the .vpk file type. I guess with .bsp as soon as it's in the the folder the console can find it, perhaps with vpk you have to re-boot Portal 2? I'm not sure, but give it a try...
Anyways, played the map, very proffesional looking and found no issues with it. However, only took me just over 5 minutes and never really had to think that much. Keep making maps, but try to focus on making some more difficult puzzles.
I must have had my Wheaties this morning, because I waltzed through this one with just one misstep. A very simple puzzle, but long enough and spread out so that it wasn't boring. Nice work, 4/5 from me.
P.S. See my sig if you're having trouble playing .vpk files.
