Description

This is a demonstration and prefab collection of the laser mechanism featured in my "Try Anything Twice" map pack. It is similar to Valve's "thermal discouragement beam" in that it will travel through portals and it also includes the redirection (lens) cubes seen in the Portal 2 trailers. It is primarily aimed at map designers who want to include a similar mechanism in their maps. (Adequate mapping experience and familiarity with complex entity I/O setup is required.) Please read the included readme.txt file for usage instructions. You'll need 7-zip to extract this file.

I still haven't downloaded this yet, but I will soon because I'm curious as to how your laser rig compares to reep's.

Oh, and is the URL tag broken when the descriptions are transferred to threads?
