Interesting, I guess...

If this is just an exercise in detailing, it's missing some key elements to make it "feel" right. It seems like you can't decide if you want it to be clean or destroyed. As it stands, it just looks like there's pieces missing from walls, since all the textures are super-clean, and the lighting is very neutral. Don't be afraid to use some rusted textures, throw in some models of broken stuff,etc... I won't go too much into the design theory, but it seems like there's something severely lacking to make it a believable environment.

The lighting is very bland as well... Look at lights in real life.. they are very rarely pure white. Most lights are either yellow, or blue. This can really breathe some life into what is now a pretty static map. I would put a flickering light_spot with a bluish tint in one of the obs rooms, to mimic a failing neon light. Think about and experiment with a few different possibilities like that. Remember, yellowed lights make your environment feel "warmer" and friendlier, and blue shades will make everything more clinical and cold.

Just some thoughts. Hope it helps? I'll look forward to an actual puzzle from you so I have more to comment on than the details.

You say " they are very rarely pure white." it's false. In the background is the light from a instance and in testchamber is white/blue.

Puzzle elements there will not be very demanding.
I try to create a kind of "open world"
