Core Plug Thing

Okay, one question, how do I make a core plug that you put wheatley into,
that reveals the hidden door/wall panel in the beginning of the game? If someone can tell me, how do i get it to activate stuff?

Find the model and put a trigger on it with a filter for your core.
OnStartTouch> !activator> setparent> model
"> "> SetParentAttachmentMaintainOffset or whatever> attachment name. The rest you can figure out. If you don't know what the "attachment" is, look up the model in the model viewer and look for it.

Okay, so I think I have some of it working, but when i put it into the socket/plug, it vanishes. The animations work though! Edit: It doesn't vanish, it appears somewhere near the top of the wall opposite of the model.

There's an instance in instances/gameplay/sphere_socket.vmf, you could try fiddling with that. It looks like it wants a sphere called @sphere, so try that.
