It can snow on sunny days! (or at least in aperture it can........, it has nothing to do with the fact of limitation on skybox textures that would work!). Also, white is visible, just not in this picture, based on the angle.

The warm lighting reminds me of Blue Portals.

Thank you!
This is the elevator pit, I think is hard to take a good screenshot of it, but its not a place on the map that you should spend more than 10 seconds inside

Well, I think they're all good. These kinds of stuff are attempted by some people on the workshop and I can see the comparsions to this.

This screenshot doesn't look like the place has gone to waste, but more like an explosion went off! Is that intentional?

Hmm, after GLaDOS got destroyed maybe some parts of Aperture are a little bit exploded, and after 999999999999 ... Days the rest of the explosion becomes wasted ^^

Maybe it was damaged after the initial explosion that occurs when you kill glados in portal 1, or something caused by wheatley.

I think the first picture looks the best there- the others are good, but don't really look as abandoned. Perhaps use some more destructed tiles and colder, darker lighting like in the first picture.

The first picture is the only place that is actually ready. The others are needing some ceiling and wall ruptures, with that some ruined BTS. But some of these offices are not going to have so much destruction, those places were left by employees trying to escape from the neurotoxin flood, then, nothing happened until you fell inside. By this time, Glados exploding + the years of humidity that came out from water pipes that broken caused some walls, structures, ceilings to get ruined. The areas that didn't get so devastated are areas that didn't get so much contact with humidity or other factors that can degrade them, so they lasted longer.
This is good to remember: there are some underground offices that didn't get so wasted too.

This is the area where this map starts, almost finished.

The outdoors area looks really nice, especially the coloring on those trees.

Damn, looking good! When this map comes out I may have to decompile it to see how to get that soft-warm look which I've been trying to achieve in some of my maps.

It's a certain lighting color that I liked combined with warm light strips/warm light textures behind them.

You can decompile it when it's out. cough it justifies me for decompiling Clear to see what animations you used for the ramps cough

I love the fizzler; the water looks superb; the snow, the details. Gorgeous!
Can't wait to play it
