I find this usefull to test physics in portal 2 BEFORE making the maps.

Testing physics? I dont know which physics i should test. If a cube doesnt fall down like i want to, i can use trigger_push'es, clips, magnets etc.

Maybe to test the basic gameplay of ideas in PeTi before building the map in Hammer.

Yes, for basic gameplay and ideas is the peti editor for. But we talked about testing physics, not basic gameplay, or peti. But anyway, herzlich willkommen zu twp!

PTI takes time to compile and makes actual maps. Portal map editor is fun to play with both in sp and coop and is fast, but can't make real maps. So, it's basically a sandbox.
