Woah woah woah woah is that volumetric light/fog?
Anyways, that looks pretty cool. I've missed portal 1 BTS for a while. The closest thing I've had is crappy workshop maps trying to do portal 2, but this looks excellent. It has an abandoned aesthetic, which I really like. Does this take place directly after portal 1 by any chance? And if that is volumetric fog, how the [NEGATIVE WORD USED TO DESCRIBE AMAZED EMOTION]???

About what is this - I'm still thinking about this: Or this gonna be prequel to Cosmogony series or this will be Portal 1 style overgrown with my Energy Cube and Propulsion bridge elements.
I know it isn't a Portal 2 map, but I did make this map in Source SDK and added Gordon and Alyx in with SFM.
Large image warning.

Very atmospheric!
hl2_ep3_boxart.png Gotta say, that's actually looks pretty awesome. I would like to see a night version of this map, a cold ambiance, with a camera angle from the flor pointing to the ship with some imponent beams of light and Alyx and Gordon looking at it. :biggrin:CamBen wrote:

30 min mapping (with prefabs).
I wish Portal 2 had more overgrown maps.

I wish I were good enough at detailing to make overgrown maps in 30 minutes.
It looks really nice! I like the projected texture.

Really cool looking !

I've recently asked for some suggestions for the fog in this map some days ago... Worked on it, and on a whole other things, and this is what I got for now. Btw i'm still working on the env_projectedtexture.

Looks really neat!
If you want you can spice it up just a bit more with some fancy particles and some dirty overlays/decals! But yea, looks awesome!

Link to bit larger image in case you can't see a thing from that darkness.
