We had some super bad weather this past weekend here in Atlanta. One of my coworkers who was on shift during and after the tornado that hit Downtown took some photos of the carnage. These photos are totally insane, it looks like something from a movie.

I live way outside the city, plus I was out of town this weekend so I'm fine. My company (and the people who host our server) didn't suffer any damage or outage so everything is okay. I don't think there were any injuries or deaths in the tornado either. It is just awe inspiring to see this type of damage in such an urban area. Stuff like this almost never happens.

its also quite awe inspiring to see such an event happen in an urban area and NOT have any deaths or even injuries i think was looking out for

A friend of mine in Savannah recently bugged out and came back home to NC.

Msleeper, you should do likewise. LAN party at my place this Friday.

If I didn't already have plans I would be there in a heartbeat. A 6 hour long, grueling heartbeat.

lol i find it funny that you can drive only 6 miles and be in 1 of 5 different states (maybe more depending where you start from i guess) where i'm from, i could drive 6 hours in 2 of the 4 map directions and only be HALF WAY towards leaving my state i've drove from here to elpaso in one sitting (several times) but not once a month. jeezuz, that sux0rz
but anyway. sorry again about all the ~crap~

It even funnier if you're living in a tiny country like belgium where you only have to drive 60 miles to get out of the country. No matter how far from the border you start It's even worse with luxembourg where 40 miles is enough.
