With those powers, what would you do?

If you could have all the powers of every single character you ever saw, read about, or heard about, anywhere....

... Besides committing crimes, like murder...what would you do?

Someone in hollywood had to have read my mind, because the single greatest superpower is instantaneous, error free, infinite range, infinite mass teleportation.

Eye-beams? Fuck that, I hate glasses.

Psychic powers? Other people's thoughts should be their own. And I'd get really lazy levitating a beer from the fridge.

Control over the weather? All my plants would die from lack of rain.

Ability to shoot fireworks? ... Do I really have to cover this one?

Think of it this way: You could set up a base on the dark side of the moon within a week. Within a month, you and the rest of humanity would have the most spectacular pictures of deep space imaginable. The Jovian moons would be colonized within a year. Food? There's hundreds of MILLIONS of acres of land on the moon, ripe for hydroponic farming to feed a world of trillions.

That, and you can teleport into banks to nick a few hundred bucks, pop into movie theatres, girl's dressing rooms, the oval office... And be instantly gone again with no more than a thought. Bullets could never stop you since you have the ability to teleport THEM AND the guns away at will, not to mention instant regeneration powers, with fine enough teleportation skills of flesh and bone.

...

I haven't given this a lot of thought.

Nope.

For some reason, having Spiderman's powers sounds like a lot of fun. I would just swing about Brisbane and just have myself a good old fashioned adrenaline rush.

stop/start/slow down time. always thought that would be kick ass.

someshows/movies i like that got me into time altering, there are others i'm sure. but these 3 stand out to me (especially the x-files episode):

X-Files: Season 7, Episode 5, "Rush"
DuckTales: Season 1, Episode 26, "Time Teasers"
Timestoppers (movie)

Being a crazy computer AI and killing all my test subjects sounds like fun.

When you're a computer, killing is not a crime but just a miscalculation.

How about spiderpig-powers?

Really, how awesome would it be to be a spiderpig?

Pretty awesome, not?

Okay, okay, if I had the powers I want I would never have to lift heavy objects or walk the stairs anymore!

(yeh, I'm talking about Teh Rockin' Devices, the Gravity Gun and the Portal Gun)

I'd like to change my vote to "the power to remove any item from all history" I could then choose to rid the world of such terrible blights things as guitar hero and halo

seriously though, the world would be a better place without both of those.

i'd like to change mine to "mind reading" so i could figure out what the hell you are thinking? halo is ok (though never got into it big time as i never had an xbox, and prefer pc games) and guitar hero is one of those things that starts out being retarded but once you give it a chance it is addicting. but seriously it would be cool to read minds

The world would be better without fun, says the map maker for a video game.

How would less happiness in the world make it better, and on what authority can you make such judgements.

Also, not sucking at Guitar Hero is remarkably like not sucking at real guitar. Keep playing. I've spent years working on both. I'm still pretty bad with a real six-string, but I can five star some songs on Expert because GH had a 2 year head start.

But never forget, it's all in good fun.
