not mine, this is my brothers
Intel E8600 3Ghz dual core
2GB OCZ SLI DDR2 RAM
BFG 9800GTX 512mb GPU
Antec 900 case

and the comp I'm getting
AMD 64 3200+ 2Ghz single core
1.5GB DDR RAM
Sapphire HD 3650 512mb
(slightly upgraded version of my brother's old comp)

Both of these are using XP

sorry about double post, but

Quote:
3.4 GHz Pentium 4

I understand you were going for value, but at least try for better than Pentium 4. You probably thought that the 3.4GHz part made it good, but no. Always go for a newer processor. A 2.5 GHz core 2 duo will always be better than a Pentium 4.

The Core 2 Duo E4500 2.2GHz would be a lot better, and its only $20 more (in canada).

So remember for your next comp, look for # of cores rather than the core clock.

Not trying to be an ass, just letting you know.

edited for stupid grammar mistake
