I try to make a point, but theres so much one sided biased people!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/City17:_Episode_1

Voice your opinion if you'd like, it seems they tend to do this with all the mods based on HL2 under the wiki. Why? I do not know.

I've noticed that unless a mod is something really really huge and popular, similar to the HL series or Portal, Wikipedia does not like it, which I find to be quite mad. At least the developer wiki has a space for mods.

It seems that way the rule for everything. You need to either help disabled children, or change the lives of people to be on the wiki. Which is indeed Mad.

I can't say I blame them. If someone wants information about your mod, they can go to your website. The point of Wikipedia is to give a single place for authoritative information on, say, the Tunguska Event or The Andromeda Strain.

I'm kind of ambivalent on this, especially since the enforcement of the notability criterion is applied somewhat schizophrenically. But here's my question: why would you rather people view the Wikipedia article instead of your website where you can have custom layouts, screenshots, etc?

because many people use a wikipedia quick search bar? points to his its my default ie7 search bar :-/

aside from that i agree with you hobs that is seems like an inappropriate place for mods info. especially a WIP mod... i mean something that has been out awhile. and is culturally relevent is different... but a mod? just a simple addon? pfft. unless it changes the gaming world.

and keep in mind. unless you have donated to wiki... do you have any right to complain? cuz they have bills to pay too. (and bandwith/storage space to watch as well)

this is of coarse in no way aimed at your mod. i haven't played it. so have no opinion on it :-/
