I've figured out some stuff recently about recording guitar on the computer (axe -> amp -> computer), mostly related to EQing out the buzz from using an uninsulated 1/8th inch cable from amp -> comp. I thought about re-recording now that I know that, but in those bits, it gives it a sort of special tone.
