took me long enough, but heres a pic of the ballcatcher effect:
it still needs a bit of tweaking, but its good for now
the HUD is messed up in the pic, i think its because of the particle editor

Ever since the particles editor is out my both portal and ep2 mods have tons of "Didn't find particle function" errors in the console, and the particles don't show, anyone know why?

You'll have to add them to the manifest file (portal/particles/particles_manifest.txt)
Extract the one from the game files using GCFscape then put it in that directory and add yours to the list.

Did it, didn't worked, And I don't even have custom particles, the normal ones like fire and blood don't work.
(It's a ep2 mod, although I have the same problem in my portal mod)
