Ok. so i just saw The Dark Knight and let me say: I'm not an emotional1 gheytard but near the end i nearly cried2.

thats all i'm gunna say. go see it.

edited (cuz i do whatever dudewaffle says):1: the only people who say "emo" are "emo-tards" themselves
2: not so much cuz it was sad, but just cuz the whole thing was very epic, and emotionally strong. from love, to hate. from vengence, to sacrifice.. its a rolercoaster for sure

they weren't really meant to be read except by the curious. i coulda used [ spoiler ] i guess. but its not really a spoiler to anything.
the bulk (and main point) of my message was contained in normal text. the rest was just an afterthough/edit. but i didn't want it to distract from the main message. (except to those of a curious nature)

I just got back from watching it on a digital ultrascreen and holy shit. This movie was life changing. Heath Ledger was perfectly captivating, the music score was incredible and the script was brilliant. This may possibly be the best movie of the decade. Go see this as soon as you can even if you don't like batman or comic book movies (somehow).

I just got back form watching it - simply amazing.

The audience was really into it; lot's of laughing, cheering, etc.

In particular: the place went nuts when the joker made the pencil disappear.

Because that movie was completely shit and 99% of the world agrees on that.

According to the Marcus website, "The UltraScreens, with razor sharp three-story tall picture, crystal clear digital sound and comfortable stadium seats are Marcus movie magic at its best. The UltraView auditoriums, boast a screen 75 feet wide by 32 feet tall.*" And since it is digital, there are no film artifacts like the circle on the top right and grain lines. Basically it's a fucking huge screen with amazing quality and sound.

the same could be said to just about ANY of the cult classics. as far as ya'll in the 99%, its easy to go along with the crowd, and harder to stand against it. if you truely hate it personally. AWESOME FOR YOU! but i know there are alot (read: A LOT) of people that hate it just cuz its "cool" to hate it lol and i still like it

and as far as ultra screen, i tried to look it up this morning and couldn't find any useful information, but web searching for the few minutes before i goto work (at 4am) is rarely very productive, but so. its like a "digital" version of imax? thats what it sounds like atleats. thats pretty bad ass. the "closest/best" thing i could do would probly be regular ol' iMax, but they would most assureadly be sold out, and much more expensive. i saw this movie on opening day for $3.00 (matinee of coarse. but still)

how much are DUS tickets?

Well they have general admission which has really nice reclined seats in the normal area of the theater but there are also reserved seats which are amazing and obviously are reserved so you don't need to get there early to get good seats. We got the reserved which are $16 each, regular seats are $11.

Also, going against the crowd could also just mean you are completely wrong instead of "unique".

well in matters of opinion you can't be wrong. so no. i'm not just wrong. and couldn't care about being unique. i just like it.

and. i guess $11 for normal seats ain't bad... but still. i saw the same movie for $3
