NVIDIA PhysX Particle Fluid Demo

Posted Aug 13, 2008

I found this awesome video on wegame.com showing a tech demo of the PhysX Particles.

Wouldn't ya love to have that in HL2:EP3?

Here's a DIGG I made for it. Digg pl0x.

Oh there particles! Nice though, this is possible for source right now, via particles of course, but yet it need to have new shaders and such. Nice find though, i want that hardware.

Well we had a big discussion about that video above, and that is NOT Dynamic Water, but close to it.

Not to mention it doesn't look anything like water or behave anything like it.

still freaking narly. and its pretty "close" closer than anything else i've seen thus far.

True, edit the parameters more, and get a sexy ass shader for them and BAM, as close are you can get to a real Water system.
