Take outa a Litle peace of a wall
now when i finaly can start Mapping i want to make a Hole in a wall from the room She... come from
like this
This is the wall no but i want a litle hole in it like this
----------------
----------------
----------------
----------------
What tool to use? thx
or like a door or some thing
EDIT!!!! And i get som undo warning all the time why? look here

If I remember right, you should create another brush the size of the hole, and put it inside the large brush then go to tools>carve.
EDIT!!!!!
Where to find bruch tool or is it block tool?
Can't you disable the warning? Or install more RAM
.
You create brushes with the block tool. But use the carve tool cautiously. Simple box-shaped brushes should be fine to use in most cases, but if you carve with more complex brushes, they are likely to cause errors or really bad cuts.
Another way to make the hole in the wall is creating four brushes and place them like this:
111222333
111 333
111 333
111444333
ok... dont realy get it but.. iw will try to understand XD i only got 1.512 Gb RAM but its the FU** steam thet take like 100mb of it
EDIT!! here is a pic
http://files.uploadffs.com/3dcb3b_yousuckandimleet.bmp
Where the crusior (?) is i want the hole XD but the whole wall is being marked.....
1 ) Split the red wall at the left side of the hole you're about to make
2 ) Splite the red wall on the right side of the hole you're about to make.
The red wall should now be devided into three brushes.
3 ) Select the brush in the middle.
4 ) Split that brush where you want the top of the hole to be.
5 ) Delete the brush where you want the hole and voil?!
Edit!!
i see that it is a addon / plugin for maya ? do this work can you compile it and stuff? cuz i got maya but not installed and im pritty good at that program
Look at the pic a attached to this.

Um... It's the Clipping Tool. It looks like a cube with the top cut off diagonally.

Yes, I meant the clipping tool. Sorry about that. Splitx, since you're new to Hammer, go here: new-to-mapping-never-used-hammer-before-look-here-t1024.html
You'll want to lower it down to about 4 or 8 by pushing '['. You can raise it again by pushing ']'.

I also saw in your picture that you have snap to grid set to 64 units!! (It's in the lower right corner of the screen)

I cant do that
i use swedish keyboard
is it buttons in the program ? for changeing that?
Yeah, I can't use those hotkeys either. Use the buttons on the screen: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki ... ew_Toolbar
Did you follow the link I posted in my last post? You'll find many answers there:

It causes errors / problems / leaks / bad cookies.

Umm, what? I think you mean the carve tool. The clipping tool is an amazing thing (although I prefer the vertex tool better).
but when i read some tuts it says like this
"You will need two prop_dynamic entities, one for each of the following world models:
* models/props/pedestal_base_reference.mdl. Name it stand_bottom_model and set its "disableshadows" keyvalue to 1.
* models/props/pedestal_center_reference.mdl. Name it stand_top_model. "
but where to find them?
