I joined because, well, I just got into the Portal fandom. I'm getting Portal: Still Alive for the Xbox 360. As of right now, I don't really have Portal for PC, so no cake for me.

I'm a bar and venue manager by day and a death metal/punk rock singer at night. I work for 2 bars, 2 venues and i sing in 2 bands. Really. I only have 1 girlfriend tough. She's a gamer too so we can play through all our sparetime and still have a relationship hehe.

I'm almost 30 so i've been a gamer for 25 years now... hope to go for another 25. I dont know shit about mapping but i've been following this community for almost a year. The best custom Portal maps i've tried all comes from here, so i would really like to thank you all for the entertainement !

About time then. You can buy the standalone-version of Portal, but I'd buy The Orange Box and the retail version of Counter-Strike: Source. That way you'll get HL2, HL2:Ep1, HL2:Ep2, TF2, Portal, CS:S, DoD and HL2:DM, which will get you started in the Valve universe.
