Portal Update Adds Morse Code, SSTV Images, etc.
Not sure how many of you paid any attention to that Portal update last night, but it's much more than the description lets on.
- Changed radio transmission frequency to comply with federal and state spectrum management regulations
And that was it. I didn't understand what the hell it meant at first, but basically, new audio files were added to the game, which you can hear by finding the radio in each chamber and taking it to a specific point in the chamber where interference can be heard. Some of the sounds are morse code. Some of them are actually SSTV images, and can be viewed as .jpgs.
The rabbit hole goes much deeper, read more here.

I think this can be officially declared the most epic thing that Valve has ever done. Even if it's just a red herring, they have stirred up the Portal Community like nothing else could.

Me.

I found 22 on the first night. Took a little while, but I found the remaining 4 on the second night. Then I noticed the ending is different.
"Thank you for assuming the party escort submission position."
Seems like everyone did make the right party escort submission position decision after all. Though I still don't know how to get that achievement...

You have to (no spoiler tags anymore) find all 26 radios and take them to specific spots so that you get a transmission. These transmissions have been highly discussed.

I'm sorry, I wasn't completely clear there. I mean the achievement for which you need to assume the party escort submission position. I got it, but I don't know how.

Easy. Escape the fire pit in Chamber 19.

Oh really? I tried to lie on my stomach by doing some weird portal manoeuvres, with myself half submerged into a portal. I guess I didn't get that achievement on my first run for the same reason I didn't get 'Heartbreaker' the first time around.
