What should the rating images be? YOU DECIDE!

(Note: depend on map type means Cake for portal 1, tater for p2sp, lemon for p2coop, or something like that)

I suggest simple numbers (2.4, 3.7 etc.) or maybe stars

EDIT: otherwise i'm happy if it just says beside that is has e.g. 3.4/5 in rating or something

Base it on map type:

Portal/Portal Addon - Cake
Portal 2 SP/MP/Addon - Potato

Portal: Cake
Portal 2: Potato
Mods/Resources: Lemons

And I can do a lemon icon if needed. :>

What'd be really nice is letting the user choose what type of icon they'd use, overriding the default rating images for that specific add on.

Because I want cakes on every map I upload. Every one.

I was kidding, I would prefer people not use memes all the time though.

I too hate it when that happens. Like that time in 5th grade when they made every single fucking person in the grade miss recess because one group of kids was talking during class

Well I like cake, and I like lemons, so what about "Lemon Cakes?" No? but in all honesty I think I would prefer cakes over anything else.

I know exactly how that feels, I got in a fight once because of it too. I just told the principle to deal with it.

Portal 1 maps should have Cake while Portal 2 should have Taters/Lemons. Portal 2 does not really mention cake at all, and Portal 1 has nothing to do with potatoes or lemons.

But then again, the data base should be consistent. Why not just use Portals since both games have them?

I was considering using test chamber signage dots like the workshop, because those are in both games.

Anyone want a repoll with those options added? Otherwise it looks like it's gonna be type-dependant.

I like reep's ideas with portals, would be unique and fits both games (duh). Indicators would work as well.

I think indicators would be kind of cool, the indicators could change from blue to orange depending on the rating. For example a map has a rating of 3/5 so 3 out of the 5 indicator lights would be orange and the last 2 would be blue, just a thought. I think I'm liking the idea of Portals more though.

I stick by cake.
