Hi,
which is the max distance the player can jump?
I don't know if this page is updated or the same values are ok for Portal2

The hl2 and css values don't apply to portal 2. All I could say is to use the dev measure textures to figure that out.

Best way to learn more is to experiment and read up. It takes time, but I bet you can figure it out.

You should be able to calculate it from the gravity, how fast jumping makes you go up, and your max horizontal speed. Those are probably variables in the console.

Depends if you know how to bunnyhop too. In the coop lobby I can jump to the lower faith plate in the middle of the hole.
