You mean the screen or the numbers counting down? I don't know the screen prop, but the numbers counting down is an entity, vgui_neurotoxin_countdown.

I had that issue, sometimes you have to rotate the "vgui_neurotoxin_countdown" to see it, try rotating it 180 degrees.

I use dust fog, and make it do a console command. I think the command is "neurotoxin" or something.

The neurotoxin vent is an overlay I think. Or I could be mistaking that for something else.

Yeah it's an overlay.

Oh. You were busy back there. Well, I suppose we could just sit here and glare at each other until somebody drops dead. But I have a better idea. It's your old friend: Deadly Neurotoxin. If I were you, I would take a deep breath. And hold it.

:boring:

Anyway, the countdown the vgui, as for the monitor that's just a prop. The vent is a texture overlay. And the neurotoxin spray is "info_particle_system."

ok, good. I'm almost done. Last, I just need to know what to put into the color correction. Like, the lookup table, script think function, etc. Anybody know what to do?

Do you mean the neurotoxin color? If you do, then type "Human_cleanser_cheap" in the "Particle System Name" for "info_particle_system."

If you meant the screen turning into a different color, then I have no clue.

What about using a env_fade set to a green colour with 70/80/90% opacity?

That should give the illusion of being surrounded by neurotoxin.

I guess I could try the env_fade thing, but I meant with the color correction, if that's possible.

Yeh i geuss you could use both... but the env_vade would be great for when the gas levels gets to "high" sorta speak... just before u die (20/30% opacity or something) so u really get the idea of getting gassed.

and then when the gas starts flowing you can have it come in at 70/80/90% opacity.

I plan on using the neurotoxins in some maps in the near future so i'll also get cracking i geuss... maybe i will release a cool neurotoxin prefab/tutorial. (if i get it working how i want)

Oh, well then that's a much better way. But is it possible to make it change opacity at those times?

Havnt played with the env_fade that much yet... but i know it can be triggered and set a certain colour, fadein and/or fadeout time and opacity %.

EDIT:

Yeh it does end up looking kinda cheap so far... maybe if you use it just reallyy slightly... like 5% together with other effects(color correction, fog_controller, etc. etc.)...

I will try that tomorow after i get some rest
