Ballbot Assemble animation??

This definitely isn't in the game and I wonder if Valve meant for the Orange bot to discover the blue bot while assembling, or Orange presses a button to assemble Blue. When you start the calibration course Orange is cool with being assembled but the blue bot tries to run away. The bluebot even has a secondary skin (skin 1) when Orange only has 1 skin (default skin 0).
Even in the courses one time Glados states that "Blue, how well do you really know orange? Do you trust Orange? What if I told you, you aren't Orange's first cooperative partner?" What if Orange's first partner is destroyed and they have to create another bluebot with a different memory?
Any theories people?
Edit: Orange is also referred as a EggBot.

Theory; I think the animations were cut so the players can quickly procede to the next area.
it's too damn long as it is. The FIRST time you see a robot disassembled = COOL!. after playing through all 5 courses no less than 3-5 times. and some individual maps a few times you really learn to HATE that animation, it really needs a "space bar to skip" option, or an advanced settings option or something.
EDIT: BOT; The "assembly" animation is a cool find though!

Well, GLaDOS is a mean liar, so I would think the quote was just to "upset" Atlas. So the assembly thing might have been an idea that was scraped. Is there an Orange assembly also or just a Blue?
There is only an assembly animation for Atlas. This is why I thought it was fishy.
