All right, maybe I'm being a shameless narcissist, but that's all right. Anyway... me and some friends were discussing the gender of the Pyro in Team Fortress 2, given the pink purse in his 2fort locker, and though we couldn't come to a conclusion, decided that female versions of the TF2 classes would be awesome.

So I drew this. Click to enlarge. Don't worry, it's safe-for-work.

I hope someone finds it aesthetically pleasing. I know I'm relatively proud of it. Comment here or on the site; I'll read it either way. Maybe I'll make something of the other classes, too, if this comes across well.

I decided to abuse my artistic license and go with "aesthetic" rather than "functional". Because it's more fun that way.

I am 100% for the creation of female models of classes in TF2. Its nice to have little things that are different that keeps things interesting.

Also, that pic is awesome. Pat yourself on the back for me.

I'm sure custom female player models will arrive eventually.

I just drew that real quick (like 10 minutes), so it's not very good, but hey, it's how everything starts.

I thought about this too, but how would it affect spies? Would a spy be able to cross-dress? would you have to choose a gender? what if you choose a gender the other team doesn't have?

I imagine it would auto-choose like it does the name the enemy sees.

the spy's disguise is only a cardboard cut out so its not really cross dressing. It would probably be automatically picked in exactly the same way the name is

if that were the case it would be easy to see enemy spies. the cardboard mask is for the benefit of your team, so they know who you are and what you're disguised as. A cardboard mask wouldn't fool the other team

I do however think it would be cool to add gender, also I think a couple variations of model would be nice, so if you have 5 soldiers, they don't all have to look the same

make it random, with an option to pick one if you want

Girlfriend just put the finishing touches on it now. Way better than anything I could ever hope to do.
