Ok, because it might be a week or two, before I can upload the map to your site/email/etc.
@MasterLagger: That's fine, when ever you finish it, and if you fix things after you've sent it in, that's fine just send the revised version, and specify that its the same map... even though we will probably notice there is a duplicate
Actually, my map is already done, I'm just on vacation. Don't worry about glitches, I tested it several times to find any. But there is more than one way to solve the puzzles even though the map is a little on the short side.
That's fine, as long as it is of good quality, we can probably use it, have a great vacation!

By submitting content to AiCreation, you are hereby giving us the right to modify and publish the content, AiCreation does not "owe" you anything except to mention your name(username) in the credits.
Even if you might not believe it yourself and you think you're just involving the community to make a huge map pack/mod, you're just being lazy and stealing people's work. You know how many people zone out or just quit the game during the credits? There's no way people will be able to connect a map name to the actual map considering the dozens of maps you'll have. Where will the line be drawn between what you did to our maps? This is really just, "We really don't have enough ideas to make a decent mod so let's just have everyone else submit some maps and we'll throw it in with our maps and make a huge mod!"
There won't be any clear indication as to which maps were created by AiCreation and which maps were created by users and that's the scary part.
I can see you don't think this is a problem but I suggest you just pick up a handful of good mappers and really make them part of the team instead of just slapping their names in some credits no one will read.
and yes, I think I've stated that we are running out of puzzle ideas.
To be honest I don't even know who made the map-packs that I've played... that really isn't that important to me...all I remember is that I sure loved "Portal: Prelude", and "Portal TFV" for portal 1, because they were all quality maps, put together with a story... I'd rather have that, than play a whole bunch of single chamber puzzles, with no story.

Well, a decent good reason to have maps made by different people (excellent and amateur) in a mod/map pack is that the maps don't end up repetitive. A lot of people (including myself) have made maps that end up repeating a certain element in a map pack. BTW some people do actually look at the credits, not everyone, but still. As long as you make credits that include the map titles and the people who made them next to it, you have my support.

When will this mod be released?
Well obviously as soon as possible, but we don't want to cut any corners, we want this to be the best possible experience you can get from anything short of the actual game.
We were thinking sometime around Chr?stmas 2011, but to be honest we have still got lots more work to get done, and as I've said before, we are running out of puzzle ideas, which is why we are allowing you to submit chambers for us to incorporate into the mod.
If you want to work with us on some of the mod, contact me directly at [email protected]

Surely if people give their maps to the dev team... they should be considered a part of the development team. What do you think thousands of other mods have done, people create maps and get credited with it in it's entirety. This is just perverse what you're trying to, taking people's work with no guarentee of giving them any acknowledgement.
I have stated throughout this entire thread, all contributes will be given full credit, and will have links to their original work, if it is featured someplace for download.
If people join the team they will also be helping to make maps that apply to the story-line, and specific circumstances the player will be going through. We are in no way trying to publish maps others have made and call them our own... that's why we don't just browse the download page here, and take your maps. We are trying to do this right.
Does that make sense?
We thought people would love to be apart of something bigger... you don't have to submit if you don't want to.
