You are completely correct. Vast majority of epileptics are not autistic.
To be more accurate, these two conditions are not related, but seizure disorders are associated with autism.

By the way, did anyone else notice the similarity between Lord Voldemort (from Harry Potter) and Lord Vader (from Star Wars)?
I think Rowling either consciously or subconsciously mirrored Voldemort's life to Darth Vader's.
They were both born with a humble background, and they both carried shame in their childhood. Consequent of this sense of shame, they hungered for power. They were both extraordinarily gifted, but they ended up abusing their talent.
Ultimately, what led to their downfall was their unquenchable thirst for power.
